How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Priskilly was the perfect spot for our first trip to Wales. Typical country side atmosphere, wonderful hosts, excellent location for daily walks in the Penbrokshire National Park, excellent 9 hole golf course

The kindest and most welcoming hosts. Beautiful surrounds, with lovely walks nearby. Lovely breakfast every day. The perfect spot for exploring the surrounding areas, so much to see close by.

Old, historic property set in a beautiful country side, soroubded with explosion of greenery. Quiet, beautiful spot! The house is Very comfortable and welcoming, the room was specious. Great place to rest and reflect.

I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING.
THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY LARGE. THE ROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. THE OWNERS GAVE ME SOME USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT TO DO LOCALLY.

We have had the loveliest time at Priskilly Forest. Joy and Phil are such a kind, welcoming, friendly couple- we were sorry to leave! Everything was incredible, from the beautiful rooms to the amazing cooked breakfast. Thank you so much Joy and Phil!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Priskilly. Mr and Mrs Evans were excellent hosts, very tasty breakfasts and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the historical manor house and peaceful countryside, a short drive from St David's.

Fantastic peaceful venue in the countryside. Great atmosphere - you feel like home😊. The hospitality of Joy and Philip is exceptional. We had such a wonderful 3 nights stay and absolutely loved it. We didn’t want to leave! The breakfast is amazing, the house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are nice and cosy.

We enjoyed it all to be honest. Maybe the rooms could have a chair or two taken away as.we found we didn’t need them all in there, but that is a tiny thing..
Breakfast was delicious and it was a lovely location. Our hosts were terrific and made us relax into our holiday instantly.

Luxurious,quiet, well appointed! You feel like you’re living in a manor, but without any of the hassles 😃 our room was spacious with a real king bed, comfortable chairs for reading, a small table and two chairs for snacking and good ventilation with the windows open. The dining and common rooms are elegant and Joy’s piano playing is an added treat. Phil and Joy are extremely attentive and Joy is most aptly named! There is a fine 9 hole golf course on the property if you like that. For us, the House provided a central location from which to explore Pembrokeshire. We stayed 4 nights and would have been happy to stay 4. more.

All was fine
We travelled for a family wedding had a lovely time. Joy and Philip could not be more welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and breakfast very good. The location is rural but within a short drive of Letterston with a pub and takeaway.

It would have been perfect if we could have walked to a pub in the evening but they were a little too far.
The breakfasts were beautiful. The hosts charming and helpful. The room was large, tastefully decorated in keeping with a period house and spotless. The soap and moisturiser in our bathroom smelt divine. The bed was enormous and very comfortable.
