Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomA bedside light would have made the room a bit friendlier as with just a bright celling light it was perhaps a little harsh.
Rooms were a bit sparse, but clean and tidy. Bathroom was modern and clean. Beds very comfy. I didn't make use of the kitchen, but popped my head in and it was well equipped and clean.

For £59 I shouldn't have expected more. I didn't feel safe it seemed that there was someone outside my door much of the night and when I woke up in the morning I couldn't use the toilet as someone was either in there sleeping or had died as I couldn't use the facilities

United KingdomBed sheets that were used by the previous customer were not changed including pillow cases which is a health hazard with danger of transmissible disease like scabies This facility should be inspected by health and safety regularly to make sure the owner comply with health regulation. I am not sure why the owner demands ID documents after the payment was made by bank card.

United KingdomI arrived at my booking and I was shocked when I realized that the bathroom and the dining area were not included in my bedroom, at it was stated on the description of the advertisement. I left immediately and called booking who attempted multiple times to contact the owner without any result. It was never mentioned that the toilet and kitchen were shared areas. The pictures and descriptions of the apartment were misleading! It was a false advertisement as it was never clearly explained that they are communal spaces!! If I knew I would have never booked with them!! I tried to contact the owner multiple times the following day but he didn't respond! The booking tried multiple times to get me my full refund but the owner did not cooperate!! DO NOT STAY THERE, UNLESS YOU ARE DOWN FOR THE RISK

United KingdomEverything, the room was the size of a cupboard. There was no room to move around. It had a shared bathroom which wasn’t clear from the pictures. The walks were dirty with stains, the heating didn’t work the first night and the internet wouldn’t load a simple web page. There was an elderly gentleman in the next room struggling to get his room key from a lock box so I helped him into his room, that night his bed collapsed and he ended up on the floor. When I complained I got a curt message back saying I should have read there advertisement more thoroughly. It is misleading information that they have on booking.com and I believe they should be taken off your platform. The worst kind of rogue landlords.

United KingdomAccommodation should have a staff in accommodation rather to manage accommodation remotely. Physic presence of staff is necessary.
Doors are not in good condition. Property is not well secured by night. Management should have security service to prevent potential violence against clients, as accommodation is next pub attended by some violent and aggressive people with a very poor background.
