Bit of confusion finding the hotel as the Ravenstone manor hotel is directly across the road, and the signage for the lodge hotel was not clear coming from the keswick direction.

Great host, very welcoming, lovely location with great views of the grounds. Very relaxing and will definitely return.

WI-FI reception in upstairs room wasn't 100%; performance depended on the time of day.

Comfortable and quiet room along with a superb breakfast was a highlight. Off street car parking and EV charging facility made this a superb choice [as I was driving an EV]. Evening meal was also quite enjoyable.

Absolutely nothing

Excellent hotel made very welcome upon arrival by Brett who along with Pete are simply the best when it comes to making your stay the best nothing is to much trouble for either of them 👌 what a massive asset they both are to Charlie and the team at Ravenstone. The breakfast is the best and sets you up for the day ahead. We only managed dinner just the once but it was exceptional. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with only 9 rooms is lovely and quiet just what we were looking for. Looking forward to returning again soon Colin and Sandra room 2

Just wish there was more choices on there evening menu. It’s not that we didn’t like it, just not our food choices.

What a welcome we had from the Manager such a lovely man. Location was absolutely stunning, staff were absolutely fantastic, our room was absolutely spotless the view from our room was breathtaking we loved waking up to the view and animals in the morning. Breakfast was amazing lots of choices plenty or tea coffee juices. Staff on both mornings were fantastic, can’t recommend this hotel enough and can’t wait to back

I enjoyed our two night stay. Just wish the weather, had of been better.

Food was perfect, there was a good choice at breakfast. We got an up grade, to a bigger room, it was lovely with great views. I have no complaints really. Shower was good in room. Towels were nice and fluffy. All of the staff, were so helpful and friendly. Plenty of walks. Will certainly return.

We originally booked a room in the Lodge, but it was too small for our stay and requested to move to the Manor. Both owned by the same family. Both Brett at the Lodge and James at the Manor could not have been more helpful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The views from the hotel are breathtakingly beautiful.

Beautiful place in a fantastic location. Good sized room with a King bed. Probably the best shower I've had in the UK, large bathroom and great water pressure. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Couldn’t find anything to dislike. The only thing I would have liked in room six, is a mini fridge which would have kept the little bottle of milk we were given for the tea and coffee cold.

We stayed in room number six, which was beautiful, it had just had a new carpet fitted on the previous day and so had the hallway and stairs. The property had stunning views from the sun terrace and conservatory. Overlooking fields with horses and sheep in. The evening meals we had on both nights where outstanding and Pete and the staff where very helpful and gave us lots of information.
