Never realised we would not be in actual hotel , but in a guest house across the road could hear everything when other residents came and went :( Shower was ether boiling or freezing .

Had nice view of Castle free parking .

Did not get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant. Menu looked great and had a good selection of top notch offerings. The hotel had a bar, also not taken advantage of during this trip. There are plenty of choices all over Inverness.

Redcliffe Hotel is at an excellent location at the East side of Inverness. Short walk to the center of town and a quick down-hill walk to the river Ness (and the parks). Plenty of parking in the hotel lot. Wood fired pizza on the covered patio was excellent. It was drizzling and the heaters were adequate to keep the cold at bay. The room was in a separate building a few steps across the road from the main hotel. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bottles of water were provided. There was plenty of complimentary tea and coffee. Bathroom facilities were spacious and plenty of hot water when needed. Very close to the Inverness Castle and views of the castle from the room. Excellent location.

It was a well put together hotel for Inverness. Ideal for smaller families and couples looking for a quaint English inn experience.

I was in a downstairs single room, which didn't have a window, so it just felt a little enclosed and always dark without daylight. It wasn't a huge issue for me as it was only really used for sleeping, but some may not like the lack of window or daylight.

The friendly staff and cleanliness of my room and bathroom. The hotel is very handy for the centre of town, only a 10 minute walk. The towels were pretty large by hotel standards.

As a suggestion, would be good to install USB charging ports in the room for today's generation.

Nice location, just off town centre but yet peaceful neighbourhood. Loved the breakfast, full Scottish breakfast

The mattress on the bed in my room was overdue replacement and did not provide a comfortable night's sleep, which was obviously disappointing as this is the key component of a bedroom.

Good location in quiet area near city centre. On-site free parking. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Generous room tray (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits, bottled water). Everywhere was clean. Generally a very good stay (apart from the bed!).

My first impression was disappointing, the staff heard me ring the bell at reception but continued to use foul language to whoever they were talking to while on way to assist me. Very unprofessional. Pillows on beds need replacing, flat and hard.

It’s situated close to town. Was clean, just needs upgrading. Carpets worn and look dirty.

The shower thermostat was difficult to control - went from too hot to too cold with very slight turn of the dial. Perhaps need more staff on duty at busy times?

Good, central but quiet, location. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Decent breakfast.

The only complaint i had was that the wardrobe wobbled when you walked around the room, I'm not sure if it was fixed to the wall or not, but it was a bit unnerving.

Check in was good, helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs.

The hotel is well located, 8 min walking from the bridge street and the river. Book for your breakfast at the hotel, it's really worth it, it was delicious and the plate well served, with attention to detail. You can also help yourself with coffee, tea, yoghurt, fruit, cereal/porridge and a selection of savoury/sweet local products. My single room was not spacious, but was perfectly clean and the water as hot as needed for a bath after a long trip! Coffee and cookies are offered in the room. It gave me the impression of a well run hotel, all timely and correct. The service from the hotel staff was very attentive and accommodating. Luckily I stayed on holiday and enjoyed free access to the parking which is otherwise reserved for guests 6pm-8am and weekends only. Recommended!

Biscuits: we only got one small packet of 3 digestives - for two of us - for two days, they weren't replenished when the room was made up on the second morning! The room only had one bath towel and one hand towel for two of us and no footmat for when you come out of the shower. When I asked for extra towels, I was only given one extra bath towel and was told that I couldn't have a 2nd hand towel, and still no footmat.

We liked the location with it being a couple of minutes walk into Inverness. The parking was great although if the hotel was fully booked I doubt there would be sufficient space available, but there is council parking nearby.
