Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

This is our third time staying here and we cannot fault it every time. This year we stayed in a different pod and we loved it. We have already booked it again for next year. The location is perfect for the three peaks and the pod has everything you need to cook and stay and the hot tub is a perfect addition especially after walking. The pods are perfect for taking a dog and you always feel private. See you again next year!

United KingdomRibblesdale Pods was as lovely to stay at as the first time I visited. I love the hot tub and the amenities provided inside the pod, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The best thing was the extra effort put in by Cath to really make my stay, very friendly and welcoming, she really went the extra mile by picking up some beers from the shop while I was out walking so I could have a very welcome drink whilst relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day.

It was exceptional. The site is beautiful and spotlessly clean in a fabulous location. Situated right at the start of the ‘Yorkshire 3 Peaks’ with stunning fews over to Pen-y-ghent and the surrounding countryside. The pods were indeed luxurious, comfortable and with ample cooking options (including BBQ hire). The owners were all very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Nearby Settle is a lovely town with lots of little shops, pubs and restaurants. My husband completed the ‘3 Peak Challenge’ so the hot tub was brilliant and used daily. All in all a wonderful place to stay and relax. We would highly recommend.

Small and perfectly formed. Everything was as described. We were there for the three peak challenge so we didn't get too much time to use the facilities. We will return.

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing , we booked again for October while we were there it was one of our best , most relaxing stays we’ve had. Amazing value for money unlike a lot of other glamping places we’ve tried .
Absolutely spotless , no expense spared with what they provided in the pods.

United KingdomStunning setting, hospitality second to none from Bridget and family members. Small family run business, remote but still easily accessible. Perfect spot for the three peaks. Hot tub and facilities are great, Bridget went out of her way to pick us up from the train station when finding out we are not arriving by car.

United KingdomNo so much a didn’t like but noticed with all the little extras there was any shampoo or body wash. I wonder if this was just forgotten. Had to pay extra for the bedding for the sofa bed which was unusual when offering a sofa BUT it was only a few pound for the stay and the lady brought it so quickly and with a smile even late at night. Neither of these things have cause me to mark down the score as we loved the site and the hosts <3
The location was lovely, the pod was brilliant and had so many little touches and the staff were delightful. I got a call about 4 to make sure all was ok and saying they looked forward to seeing me. There was a slow cooker which i thought was a great idea. Imagine being out for the day and coming home for your dinner. Dressing gowns hanging up and a sofa bed if you don’t want to share a bed like me. Sofa bed was comfy. Fridge, microwave, hob and all the things you need to cook a meal. Tele for the evenings with all the tv apps you need.

United KingdomNothing to complain about- everything was fab!
Fantastic location, straight out onto footpaths to Pen y Ghent. The scenario was amazing and even the few showers we encountered counted dampen our enthusiasm. It is ideally placed for the keen walkers as there are so many off road routes to follow, allowing you take in the full beauty of the countryside. The Pod itself was bijou but perfect for a couple wanting a quiet get away. Less than 10 minutes from Settle which had an abundance of places to eat. Big shout out for The Fisherman, the Olde Naked Man, and Bailey's Bar and Grill which were all top notch.

United KingdomBeautiful setting and view. The pod had everything we needed and more - the hot tub was a special additional perk. The greeting and helpfulness of our hosts was tremendous and their kindness in inviting our two girls to help with the lamb feeding created special memories for them and was hugely appreciated. The whole setup is very smart including, clear parking, drying room for towels/coats etc, dog and boot wash, milk in the fridge and much more.

The pods are beautiful inside and the perfect size as well not too small. The views of Pen-Y-Ghent are also amazing! The staff were lovely and friendly and showed my fiancé how to work everything. It was also super quiet and private even with the other pods around. It was a perfect birthday weekend and was exactly what I was looking for, we will definitely be back!

United KingdomA recommendation would be some form of shelter over the hotub. As we experienced bad rain which limited the time in the tub.
The pods was lovley and really well equipped. Comfortable warm when the weather outside was awful. Cosy.
