Fairveiw farm was the perfect little getaway! It was so relaxing and beautifully scenic. The staff were kind and helpful, great communication, very reassuring. The lodge was immaculately clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We loved all the extras like the equipment outside, my son could endlessly play football and have loads or space to play. It was amazing that we could walk and feed the animals too. Staff were knowledgeable and gave great information. We would definitely recommend staying to anyone and we would love to be back again! Thank you to all the staff for your hard work.

The accommodation was lovely and we had everything we needed. When the sun came out we were also able to enjoy our own little outside area. The farm its self is lovely and there’s lots of nice little touches for all the family to enjoy so that was great. We also didn’t really see other people which was great, you felt like you were the only people there most of the time.

Would have been nice to have tea, coffee, sugar and some milk on arrival to make a hot drink. Although I understand it is self catering, when we arrived we were desperate for a cuppa after a very long drive but had to go out to find a supermarket.

Very clean. Enclosed garden area which was great for the dog. Large lounge area which was comfortable. Comfy bed. Large walk in shower. Heating worked well and kept us warm on a very cold night.

Self catering, all appliances at accommodation were very good. Lovely and warm , lots of thought put into the interior design . . Beautiful outlook outlook we really in the countryside.

The fact you had to strip the bed, empty the bins and tidy the whole place before you left, made it feel less of a holiday

Nothing at all - everything we needed or wanted was there.

From start to finish the stay was amazing. The cabin (the hideaway) was perfect for us, easy to find, hidden enough. Car was parked safely. The games room was great, the little tuck shop too, and there were clear signs around the farm when we wanted a walk. The pub local was not far of a walk (the use of the torch came in handy). All in all it’s exactly what we needed, and can’t thank you all enough. Shops aren’t far either, Tesco is relatively close in the car. Bed SUPER comfy and the shower was great. No disturbance from anyone around, fully hidden. 1000/10

Beautiful, quiet location and easy self check-in. The lodge was very clean, warm and comfortable with two great sofas and a comfy bed. The terrace doors open to a field where each morning we were visited by a group of happy pygmy goats and sheep. Staff were excellent and even helped us dig the car out when we got snowed in.

There was plenty to do on site and close to other things if you wanted to explore. The beds were really comfy and the lodges were nice and cosy. The lodes were very clean and had everything you would need. It was great to be able to walk around the farm and see all the animals and feed them.

Larger than expected, as the photos don't do it justice. Clean, bright and comfortable. Wasn't just our cabin either, my parent stayed in a separate cabin and the same applied to theirs as well. The location and site are excellent loads of shops, pubs and places to eat within a short drive or walk had the weather been better. Regarding the small issue we did have the host went above and beyond to resolve it.

We absolutely enjoyed our few days at Fairview farm holiday accommodation the cabin was exceptional and catered to everyone needs.the views were fantastic goats sheep horses fantastic brilliant play area and so near to Sherwood forest we will be booking again fabulous for all the family nice relaxing break

Nothing at all, it was all lovely.

The location was absolutely stunning, the pony pampering and goat walking was a lovely activity and we all really enjoyed it, the games room was so great. We would have loved to have gone to the stargazing points but unfortunately it was cloudy - but I imagine it would have been stunning. We really enjoyed our stay, the lodges were lovely, the beds comfortable. The parking was secure. We found the farm easily. We just wish we could have stayed longer

Nothing we didn’t like although we had donkeys right outside our lodge for the first night and they were moved for our second night which was a shame! Also the logs for the fire were £10 for a box and we just wished there was just a few more logs included to make the fire last abit longer but overall was amazing!

Loved that it was dog friendly and that we could walk around with her and there were signs everywhere with facts about the animals, the lodge was absolutely lovely and the location was great, there was a lovely farm shop just down the road where we bought our food for the stay!

The lodge was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Great place had so much to do for the kids and I really liked that the gate shut from the outside so it gave us some safe outdoor space and made it hard for little escape artists!!

A dishwasher would have been great and a waste bin for the kitchen area. However these did not distract from the overall positive view of the lodge.

Very clean and comforable and excellent views over surrounding fields. Although weather was unfavourable the lodge was warm and cosy. An armchair and sofa were great to just relax on and read a book. Kitchen more than adequate to cook. Bathroom excellent with easy to use shower and lots of hot water. Many pubs and farm shops and a supermarket in easy reach.

The beautiful views and peace and quiet of the farm, the lovely locksley cabin, the welcome message and leaving with instructions and directions. The cabin had everything we needed including a night light for the children. The boys (4 and 1) loved the enclosed park, the games room and watching all the animals from our deck.

Loved the log cabin which was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. Although there are other lodges and cabins nearby we had total privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break, the wine and shortbread were also nice touches. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook in the future. Thank you all 🥰
