Nothing noted to detract from a lovely few days.

Clear communications with Chris. We had our own parking space to leave the car that felt safe. The place was exceptionally clean and fresh when we arrived with some tea and coffee to get us going. Spread over 3 floors there was plenty of space with a lovely garden overlooking the river and meadows. We had everything we needed. The furniture was welcoming and comfortable so it didn't want to let go. Nice decorative touches showed a thoughtful attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped but we only cooked one meal. The surroundings are very quiet and we didn't hear anything apart from the splosh of oars as the rowing boats passed by in the evening as we sipped drinks in the garden. A most delightful stay and one I will be happy to repeat.

The location is excellent close to the centre and the park. Restaurants, bars are within walking distance. The facilities and comfort of the property are second to none. The is a terrace which overlooks the river unfortunately due to the weather we did not use it this time. Chris is an exceptional host ensuring his guests have an enjoyable stay - the wine was delicious by the way.

Beautiful property that is very well maintained and in a lovely quiet area. Only walking distance to the centre . Owner maintained regular communication even there we did not experience any problems.

What an amazing break for new year Excellent accommodation with beautiful views in a stunning location. A peaceful setting on the river but within walking distance to everything Chester has to offer. Well equipped home from home. This is the second time we have stayed here and won't be the last.

The house is very cute and what a beautiful garden area overlooking the river, I would love to come back in the summer as I bet it is wonderful. The only criticism is that the beds are not great, the master is small, but I have to say I am used to a much bigger bed.

The location of this house is awesome, the view is fantastic, it is right next to a park, which is beautiful and you are a mere few mins walk right into the middle of Chester. The walk is beautiful and very convenient. You are literally a few mins walk from a cosy pub on the river. Would stay again.

Nothing really. Car parking is tight for large cars but to have parking in such a location is great.

Lovely home in a superb location. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge comfortable. It was very quiet at night. Communication with our host was easy and quick.

Parking was a bit tight but once we sussed out best positioning it was fine, just take it slow

Lots of space, great location, loved the extra touches like handwash/washing up liquid as saves you having to buy extras, fantastic view over river, extremely comfortable bedding which smelled amazing, great communication from Chris the owner, private parking space

A lovely house with its own river frontage, a short walk through the park to the heart of Chester and parking as well. Rondeva certainly ticked all the boxes. Good communication from Chris as well.
