Good price and room for one night, but expect lots of road noise.

Unfortunately it was very noisy overnight. Close to busy road and the building vibrated when heavy lorries went past.

A one night stay. Rooms were small, but clean and perfectly adequate. We had an evening meal rather than go out. they were very busy but food was good and reasonably priced, staff were friendly.

You can hear the other guests, but it wasn't really a problem because they were all quiet by 10/11ish. Maybe it would be nice to have a thicker duvet too but that's just personal preference.

The lady at reception was really friendly and showed me to my room. It was a nice clean room, the heating was really good too. There was also a heated towel rack so it was nice to have warm towels. The shower temperature and pressure was really good. There was also a kettle and stuff to make tea/coffee/ hot chocolate. Overall I think it was really good value for money.

Easy to find in the dark on the main road by the petrol station. I was running late so it was thoughtful that the Owner rang me to make sure I wasn't lost. Other dogs in the bar restaurant area. Easy access to the garden, for overnight dog walks. Plenty of parking. Details- cruise line type folded towels and toilet rolls. Delicious breakfast. Modern bathroom. Very comfy bed.

The noise from the road was louder than I anticipated and went on all night . Also there was smell of food from one of my cupboards . Other than that , it was a fabulous hotel to stay .

It was clean and great value for money . The staff especially Polly were amazing . They were friendly and helpful . They have a fantastic chef and the food was great.

Dog friendly rooms on the ground floor, with patio doors to outside. Room compact double but room for small dog basket. Large shower tray, high pressure shower. Friendly staff, great food, only had small bites over 2 evenings but all freshly prepared and above average for gastro pub food..king prawns especially good. Easy 15 min drive into Chester centre..or 80 min walk along canal path Will be back with the dogs.
