Good room with a great view. Early morning walk in the park. Easy travel around London via tube, overground railway and of course walking.

No mirror in the room, except in the bathroom - which is a bit awkward when you are getting ready to go out. We had been travelling for a week and we were exhausted so we came back in the afternoon for a nap and I found it a bit too noisy during the day, but I didn't have the same issue at night. The room was slightly small only because we had two large suitcases.

The hotel is excellent and spotless as is to be expected. The staff are extremely helpful. We booked with breakfast included and I informed the hotel that my husband is celiac and dairy intolerant. As we walked into the breakfast room, the staff on hand explained everything to him. Everything was labelled, which is refreshing being able to choose with peace of mind. Plenty of options ranging from healthy to indulgent. The room was quite at night. The hotel is literally just round the corner from Lancaster Gate Tube Station. Very bright and airy room with a lovely view. Its a shame we only had one night here.

I tend not to use hotel ‘facilities’ that much but there was nothing in the room to point you to ‘hotel facilities for dummies’ except I think something buried in the online TV menu. It had power operated blinds, a heated towel rack - great if you know they’re there and where the switches are!

I liked the option not to have daily housekeeping to my room. The room was a reasonable size for a solo traveller, for inner London. The little interaction I had with staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The price of the rooms in this hotel were at the high end, so I was a little shocked when I had an additional gratuities payment at the end of my stay. I had dinner at their in house restaurant. The food was nice, but nothing exceptional. The service could have been better.

A fantastic hotel in a great location in London. Close to the metro, very close to the park, where you can relax after hard work. Great, friendly staff - at all levels - from the nice gentleman at the door, the room ladies, the reception, restaurant staff - amazing. Huge culture. Great breakfasts, beautiful restaurant, perfect experience. In my rating 6/6. Very comfortable room with a fridge and tea and coffee station. Very clean, even sterile. Great working air conditioning - it will cool and heat - as you wish. Excellent. This hotel - and I have been to hundreds of others - is my number one in London. Now I know that my next stay there convinced me that I will never stay in another one. Excellent hotel. Thank you for allowing me to stay there.

Fantastic location right by Hyde Park and on the Red Line, making commuting such a breeze and affording one the opportunity to jog and walk for some much needed exercise in the scenic park. Breakfast with a view of the Italian Gardens was definitely the highlight for me and I was lucky enough to have a well appointed room that offered commanding views of the park and streets below.

Unfortunately The only thing didn’t reach my expectations is the bed mattress it’s single mattress joint with another single mattress which I ask the staff and the only thing they done put a top on the mattress so you don’t feel the gap between them ….. so the should have double bed mattress so people like me who have back pain issues will try to avoid the same issue . Thanks

The bed was very hard and you could feel the ridge between two single beds made into a king. I asked for a mattress pad and that helped after the first two nights. Also we were against the elevators and we could hear them going up and down.

It was a beautiful room and the staff were very helpful. The location and the views were wonderful. Many helpful staff members.
