How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

View out the window was of multiple drab buildings, but I wasn't expecting much better for the price.
I was graciously allowed to check-in when I arrived a bit before the listed check-in time. Interior of the room was very minimalistic, but smart and modern. Room was spotlessly clean. Walk-in shower was huge and had good water pressure. Bed was huge and comfortable, equipped with pillows of different firmnesses. Front desk staff were friendly and approachable, even at 5am.

Really central location. Staff helpful. Hotel really clean and well maintained. Looked after our bags when we arrived earlier than planned. Nothing not to like. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing to dislike at all but just be aware it's in a pedestrianised area so parking will be a couple of mins away.
Excellent central location, large clean room with lovely modern bathroom, staff were friendly and helpful, nice continental breakfast station included for the morning, lots of plugs next to the bed and mirror.

Lobby/reception was a bit no frills i.e. no bar/restaurant although they did sell drinks in bottles/cans and there was a breakfast buffet. HOWEVER not a big issue since we are in the heart of the city.
Very convenient location, less than 10 mins walk from Liverpool Lime Street. Room was bigger than expected. It seemed like they thought about everything from light switch and plug locations (near bed for charging, near mirror for hair dryer/styling) to lighting (big/small lights in the room, lighting around mirrors in bathroom and room great for getting ready and putting on makeup.

There was a small issue with the drain in our shower, but once we had notified the front desk it was instantly sorted for us. Everything else was flawless.
Chose this based on the photos, with the expectation that reality would be disappointing. The opposite was the case! Impeccable, large room, stylish interior and bathroom, very clean, friendly staff. Extremely satisfying stay!

Not much of a view. But nothing the hotel could do about that.
Central yet quiet location. Good sized room. Slept very well. Good value for money. Free breakfast pastries was a nice touch. Reception staff friendly.

Bed a little hard but can match everyones expectations and we have memory foam at home.
Location excellent in the centre of Liverpool to easily walk to most locations. Simple access, Dogs welcomed and breakfast pastries, coffees enough to set off the day. Room spacious, excellent power shower and room cool. Staff were excellent both before arrival advising of local car park within walking distance and discount code. Staff friendly and helpful whilst staying at the hotel.

Dropped my bag off earlier in the day no problem with the buzzer to get in. But later trying to get in was a problem buzzer didn’t work & tried to ring the number on the door,message just said thank for ring & good bye . I was starting to worry it was pouring with rain & thundering after about 6 calls the phone was answered & the door was opened the gentleman at reception said the buzzer had not buzzed at the reception.
Very comfortable beds quality towels & bathroom amenities . Great location.

The croissants were a bit tough and dry on the last day. Lovely the other days
