Sealladh Sona is in a quiet location with a lovely views of the canal. Jim and Christina were very welcoming, and the rooms were well equipped with very comfortable beds, and good sized ensuites. There was a good choice for breakfast - worth coming just for the fresh fruit with nuts and seeds and yoghurt, and Tunnocks Teacakes in the hospitality tray (my favourites).

This was by far the cutest, friendliest and most welcoming B&B my husband and I have stayed in. The couple that runs it were absolutely lovely and felt like we were staying at a family members home. The rooms were clean and accommodating. And the breakfast was amazing! It was about a 15-20 minute walk from Inverness city center, and that was perfect. We will 100% be back again if we are ever in the area.

Our host, Christina & Jim were WONDERFUL to visit with! Their B & B is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, & makes you feel right at home! Our breakfast was EXCELLENT & served to us with smiles! We walked to Inverness from our room to check out town. If we return to Scotland, we will definitely stay again!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property or location

The location is right on the Caledonia canal and the views are stunning. With boats going past our window but not intrusive we went for walks along the canal and enjoyed the sights. It was within walking distance of shops and food places. The breakfasts provided by Jim were excellent produce and expertly cooked with a homely warm attitude. As suggested to the host the pillows on the bed were are a bit hard (which probably kept me awake till 2am)..(as it’s personal choice) & surprising no food 🚫was allowed in the room 😗 but you could take wine 🍷 & maybe some crisps. I felt the price was a bit steep for this B&B but never mind location was superb.

It’s location is superb (near the canal) & just 15min walk to the city centre. It’s quite & peaceful. The breakfast was lovely & sumptuous so thank you 🙏🏻

The property was very inviting and warm. This includes the beautiful staff who made our stay very comfortable. The location along the canal was beautiful. There were also a lot of small touches in the room that made it feel homely.

Aaah, nothing to complain about, but, I would’ve preferred a ground floor room - but that’s because my mobility is compromised- nothing to do with Sealladh Sona - I didn’t let them know.

The breakfast was amazing. The people were better than the breakfast. I’d definitely recommend this B&B to everyone. Truly the best.

A bit of walk to the City Center, but as we were on a hiking holiday, that was ok.

No complaints about the stay. You should know that this is on the banks of a working canal, so there may occasionally be some boats and yachts pass by the windows. The tow path on the canal can also get a little busy, with traffic to and from the nearby boat yard, but this does not detract at all from this lovely little B&B.

Wonderful B&B overlooking the Caledonian Canal. Amply sized rooms with en suite bathroom, with fabulous power showers. No hot food in the evening, but this is very clear when booking. Inverness is a short fifteen minute walk away, with plenty of hot food opportunities. Very good breakfast served in the morning and extremely welcoming hosts, made us feel right at home from the the time we arrived.

It was beside the canal, breakfast was a time to talk with our hosts and other guests, it had few rooms, it was totally renovated in very good taste, convenient parking and we could walk into town.

There was nothing to dislike.

From the time Christina greeted us with such warmth, we felt at home. The room was well beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was to die for, the best we have had in a long time.
