Our accommodation was so easy to find and the people made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect for visiting ABBA Voyage which we walk too in just under 1hr. Great selection for breakfast as well.

As we were there for an evening show we didn’t spend much time in the room however if we had needed to it would have been nice to have TV.

This time the bathroom was dated and really could use an upgrade, and it was not looking and feeling very clean. It had a bathtub and that is excellent but wad pretty slippery and the floor just looked old

I come at st katharine for years because of the location, the atmosphere, staff and cleanliness

The conference rooms were quite “conference roomy” - if that makes sense! Absolutely adequate, and nice looking, with gorgeous comfortable chairs and so on. I think because we were on a “retreat” - not your typical course, floor cushions and other forms of seating and gathering would’ve been amazing for our specific event, for meditations, group work and sharing stories.

I loved the grounds and the story of the foundation. It was so great meeting the Master, and hearing some of the history in the chapel. The room was simple and clean. I could’ve used a little stand for my suitcase, but everything else was just right for the stay.

I can’t think of anything-except perhaps my room overlooking a busy road and the traffic noise.

It was close to the dlr station and near to the person I was visiting. It felt very safe, clean and comfy. The breakfast was superb. I really liked the idea of a quiet reflective place in the middle of London and the green space in the middle with beautiful trees.

It might feel different if you were surrounded by groups - I was lucky that there were no large groups on that particular Sunday night.

A real oasis in the heart of the East End. Bedrooms were very comfy and warm and breakfast had a great choice. The old building is beautiful and some of the rooms could be used just to sit quietly and read etc if they weren't being used by groups on retreat. The main sittng room had a lovely fire and was so peaceful. Reception staff can sell you drinks including wine and there are other snacks on sale too. The chapel is another lovely space and guests can attend daily services if they want to. The grounds are lovely with seating and tables and the Yurt (community cafe) in the neighbouring grounds do great coffees and cakes. Best cheesecake I've had in years. I would definitely stay again and prices were very reasonable for the quality of the surroundings.
