Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomToo hot Bathroom a bit mouldy and dated Check in was terrible …. Staff were locked out of computer and couldn’t confirm our booking as had no password! They had to ring around for ages before able to check us in. Felt so sorry for them. They were security/night staff and tried so hard!

When I showered in the morning it drenched the bathroom so when we went to use it later that afternoon/evening after being out of the room all day it did not dry.and we got wet socks! There was lots of noise from closing of doors within the corridor from other guests. We]
Liked the venue bar, and ease of the access to the site with own car. We liked the quiet location and closeness to amenities. A good site around, but would have a different atmospher if was not in the Easter holidays.

United KingdomThe shared kitchen was a little bit dirty on the floor and didn't have an extraction fan as we cooked some bacon so it was really smokey in there we did report to the cleaner who was going to log it, but that was it nothing much to fault at all.

United KingdomI was asked to leave my room by the cleaners at 10:40 when I was told check out was 11. I think you should be given privacy until 11am. I also booked a table at the restaurant for 7:15pm. On arrival I was then told the kitchen was closed and we couldn’t have food. I then waited 10 minutes before the waitress came back to seat us so we left. Please don’t let me book a table for food and then stop serving food 15 minutes before our reservation.

United KingdomAware that it’s in the middle of nowhere which was fine as there was a pub on site which I was assured was open. However, even though we stayed during days which were meant to be open for the Venue, it was closed. I’d messaged the team and was assured it was open however the pub was very clearly closed with a sign on it saying closed and to go to reception to check in. Had no option but to pay for taxis to go to a pub in the centre instead which added costs and impacted the stay.
