Breakfast was great. We did get over charged for 2 additional breakfasts, but it was resolved quickly. The bed was fantastic!!!

Nothing really. Perhaps the room need a bit of an upgrade. And wasn’t too keen on nylon shower curtain. Nowhere to hang damp towels after shower, however they were changed the next day anyway so not a problem. Room a tad on the small side.

The area and the fact it allowed dogs. Staff so friendly and food excellent. Because we had the dog, staff said they could make up a table in bar if we required breakfast. I thought this was a lovely gesture. Shower nice and warm and cosy bed.

The hotel is a good basic quality hotel and was appropriate to my own needs. No issues.

The room was pleasant, clean and functional with a good selection of channels on the TV. Breakfast was an additional cost to the room rate - around £12 which seemed fair - however as I normally only have a very light breakfast I did not use this option. I didn't use the restaurant. The location was perfect for my needs. The staff I met were pleasant and helpful and they fulfilled a variety of roles.

décor a little dated but massive task to rework a hotels 'theme' in this day and age.

Lovely staff - couldn't be more accommodating - moved rooms when I'd been placed in a twin instead of of a double- went the extra mile - pleasant and hardworking every single one of them that I met, all chatty and pleasant, a credit to the hotel.

Staff were very friendly. Cost of staying included breakfast which was very good value. Breakfast had a good continental selection as well as a cooked breakfast. Big car park and fairly close to the town centre

The bed was super hard and uncomfortable, barely slept the first night. I was also freezing, the duvet was pretty thin.

The hotel is in an ideal location, has everything you need for a nice stay e.g good size room, functional bathroom. The staff were lovely. Dinner and breakfast were delicious!

The food was pretty basic pub grub, and we were seated on our own in the breakfast room. It was a bit disjointed and with no music on, or cosy lighting. It felt a bit cold and lonely compared with the lovely bar area we had been sitting in.

Freshly decorated rooms, new carpets and beds which were soooo comfy!! Staff were very welcoming and even went the extra mile to introduce us to other guests who were attending the same wedding as us. Lovely personal touch ❤️ Bit of a trek to get to our room but it was worth it. Really good sized room with lots of windows so lots of natural light.

Room was a bit dated. Lighting wasn't great in room. No side plates on table beside toaster so had to take plate from our own table. Minor thing though.

The sink in the room didn’t drain properly and the rooms did feel a bit tired. The food in the restaurant was a bit disappointing, but adequate, although breakfast was very nice.

The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and nice. They went the extra mile to help us and were very understanding when my mother became ill. The restaurant staff also friendly and helpful.

Attitude of one member of staff we were refused drink as a group said it was the manager who had gone home, the next day a different story was told and were given the details of the general manager to write to which I have done but no response as yet, it is supposed to be investigated. This visit was to attend my brothers funeral and a tea had been arranged at this hotel so there was a lot of money taken by them. As far as the room was concerned it was dated, the shower head was taped to the wall pipe and flexible pipe split which resulted In water spraying everywhere but throw the shower head. We left feeling disgusted about the way we were treated this is just a short version of what happened.

The room was rather dated and could do with an upgrade. Rather expensive for quality of room. Bed was very firm. May be a foam topper would make it more comfortable.

The shower in our room was very weak, so much so that it made washing a little difficult.

The room was big, as was the bed, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also excellent value for money, and in a great location.

A bit noisy as I was near the corridor and could hear every noise.

Was basic but not bad for the money I paid. Was staying for a wedding so literally just slept there.
