Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The studios are well oriented, on walking distance from the international rail station and other underground stations. The neighborhood is very quiet and gives you the English vibes. Price/Quality is very good. It was already the 2nd time I stayed here, so that says it all.

AustraliaRoom was a little warm and air conditioner wouldn't go any lower. Dryer in laundry didn't dry clothes at all, we had to go to laundromat and use theirs.
Great location! Everything you need within a short walk and so close to trains etc. For such a busy area, we were surprised just how quiet it was at night.

United KingdomThat there is no recycling of paper, card or other material. For an organisation this size every effort should be put into minimising waste. We took our recycling away and walked streets until we found a recyling bin. Residents should be encouraged to recycle paper, card, bottles etc. The planet needs us to take more care and reducing waste is a minimum requirement..

UruguayCleaning service. They only clean your room if you stay over 6 nights. I understand this is a lot of time, too much, it should be shorter, especially considering barthrooms. If I’m on vacation I don’t want to clean a bathroom. Also, laundry is available but only until 8pm.

New ZealandMy only complaint ever are the stairs depending on what level I’m put on as I have a knee replacement. They usually try to accommodate me on the ground, first or basement level s only one flight of stairs.
I’ve stayed here 5 times. Location is perfect being just 500m or so from St Pancras/Kings Cross, Euston and Bloomsbury. The rooms are compact but self contained.
