The shower wasn't the cleanest with some hairs on the shower floor, but nothing that couldn't be washed away.

The bed was really comfy and had everything you'd need for a one night stay. The owner is also really helpful, I left my charger, only realising later that day after checkout and he posted it back to me! Brilliant service.

Compared to a hotel room so much space. High ceilings full kitchen. Would be ideal for a couple. Solo traveller thoroughly enjoyed it. Bus stop right outside into town. Car parking available near by not on site I don't think. WiFi good communication with host.

There were dogs barking late in the evening and early in the morning from somewhere behind the property. It did not disturb us too much though as we were too tired to care.

Located conveniently close to the centre. The flat was well equipped, clean and spacious. Good communication with the owner. Easy to follow check in/out instructions.

Nothing to do with the apartment itself but externally, there seemed to be a lot of rubbish and litter about the street and laying about at the front of other properties which wasn't pleasant to walk past into town.

Very well presented, clean and tidy. Kitchen stocked with tea/coffee and bathroom had shower gel and shampoo. Not a long walk into town, bus stop close by too.

Loads of room. Lovely and warm. All the pots and pans and utensils needed to cook our own meals. Full size fridge freezer too.

The heating was on a timer which we had to change as the place was freezing when we got in. Check-in was supposed to be 3pm but it felt like we had to hold off until 3:30 as they weren't ready for us. However, we would stay here again as these are all minor issues.

Nice place, clean, comfortable bed, decent TV. Host was friendly and helpful. Parking was available on a nearby road but you have to drive around a bit to find it - the host pointed us to the right place.

I had to ring on arrival for key instructions and where to park. The heating went off within half an hour and as it's been a particularly cold few days the apartment very soon cooled down and was very chilly.

Didn't like the fact the kitchen cupboards were dirty inside and the freezer had old food and dirt. Teabags coffee out of date toilet seat wobbly couldn't watch the matches as no live TV. I did tell owner but didn't like his response. No curtains in the kitchen.

Bed was comfy bus stop nearby to go into town.

It smelt damp, fridge smelt. Dogs were barking outside. Location was awful and parking was difficult. Lots of rubbish at front of property. Bed was pushed up against the wall so difficult to get out. A packet of sanitary towels were left in the wardrobe. There were insects. Dripping tap in bathroom.

The fairly small bedroom housed a double bed which was pushed up against the wall on one side making getting in and out awkward for us less athletic citizens. The sheets were not ironed and gave the room a 'student flat' feel. A covered waste bin in the bathroom is required. The large kitchen / dining room / lounge was bright and at the front of the property so subject to street lights all night and the traffic noise. Filled with the usual cooker, cupboards, fridge/freezer, sofa , table and chairs, all these items looked second hand or were damaged in some way. Information on Cardiff's recycling policy would have been helpful.

The cakes and bottle of fizzy on arrival was a nice touch. Free car parking close to the property clinched the deal. The owner was pleasant and helpful when we couldn't work the TV and needed the WiFi code. The ground floor property was on a busy bus route into Cardiff which made getting into the city very quick by bus or a 20 - 30 mins walk. Overall the apartment looked clean but dated.

Arrived 3 pm after a long journey and the property was not ready. Had to wait in the car till 5 pm. A quick cleaning was done but there was left over items in the fridge and shelves from previous occupants, and there was a wash running on the washing machine. The property advertised availability of parking. There were only 3 spaces on another street, which were full when we came late at night and had to park 3 streets away.

It was very noisy. There was a dog directly out the back that barked repeatedly throughout the entire night. When the people staying above arrived back at 4.30am the noise was horrific. It must be very thin ceilings because we could even hear their phone vibrating through the floor and the conversation on the phone. So this meant there was a lot of banging about also. When we wanted to leave we had trouble getting hold of someone to get the key code to put the key in, they had said when we arrived they would send this over. After half an hour we got hold of someone and we were then told to just leave it in the kitchen.

The property is ideally located, good value, spacious, has everything you need. Collecting the keys was relatively easy as they met us at the property.

Some might find the street lights outside a little bright when sleeping in the lounge, but didn't bother me.

Lovely and spacious. Clean apartment and fully stocked kitchen. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Met us at the apartment at an arranged time. Facilities were good, clean and beds comfortable with plenty of bedding. Thank you.
