We received a lovely welcome on arrival. The cottage is in an excellent location, just a few minutes from the A30 but so quiet and peaceful. As the name suggests, the cottage is small but cosy, comfortable and well appointed AND properly dog friendly... we absolutely loved it!

There is nothing that could have been better, all was of a high standard.

The barn was a superb conversion, brilliant use of space. The main living room and kitchen were well appointed and the log burner was a bonus ( and well needed as we stayed in a real cold snap) Everything was at hand to make sure it was a real home from home ; though personnally I would have preferred a small dishwasher than a washing machine but I did think the kitchen was well equipped. The garden was lovely and I can see in the summer it would be a real haven of peace and quiet. Janet and Luc have made a wondeful place to stay and I am sure we will be back. BTW the scones were just great !

We were glad of the wood burning stove. Without it we would have been cold as the electric radiators did not heat it enough.

Clean well presented as described. We really enjoyed the cream tea that was waiting for us when we arrived. It had all the facilities that we needed for cooking. The bed was comfortable, which we don't often find when staying away from home. Wood burning stove warmed the place up nicely with wood provided. It has its own private entrance and garden so don't feel you are in the way of the host.

Bed mattress was very hard but we did still sleep okay. Would have really enjoyed a large pouffe too to settle down and watch a film with legs up. Weather was full on rain so we could t really enjoy the pretty garden and outside furniture so we were inside all the time. The view outside though was very pretty! Car parking was very tight for a large car.

Beautiful… everything thought about, including dog towel 🥰 Fantastic hosts too.

The cosy barn was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Janet and Luc were very gracious and welcoming hosts. They provided us with lots of useful information on places to visit during our stay. A cream tea with homemade scones to greet us on arrival plus a packet of Cornish biscuits topped with a lovely card with a personal message. The cosy barn also had a very peaceful courtyard garden in which to relax, just what was needed following a busy day exploring.

Nothing If we're being 'picky', the Internet quality was a little bit erratic, but then didn't affect our holiday

Great out of the way location. Ideal to sit In Garden and relax and central for any location in Cornwall. Very clean and comfortable, with many useful extras. The garden is enclosed, which was ideal for our dog. Pub up the road (Plume of feathers), serves good food. The owners were very friendly and on hand if needed Would definitely use again. Perfect holiday accommodation.

Nothing! Our hosts were so welcoming and really helped make our stay a lovely one.

Wonderful rural setting with walks nearby for us and our dog. Dog very well-catered for (biscuits and dog towel provided on arrival). Despite the extreme temperatures we managed to stay warm thanks to the generosity of the hosts. Would definitely return again!
