The cleaner coming midway through our stay and quizzing us on weather we had girls staying etc which I thought was weird

2 bedrooms have en suites but 1 bedroom has a bathroom next to it with no shower in it therefore, those in that room need to use someone else’s shower.

Beautiful building and views per listing. Hot tub a bonus. Cool games room with good pool table. Travel cot available and pet friendly.

The house itself is beautiful, the cinema room, games room and hot tub were icing on the cake. Although there are other houses around you don't notice them and is very private.

Everything! The house was lovely and spacious. The grounds were beautiful. We all had such a lovely and relaxed break away - both adults and kids. The house had everything we needed plus more. Could not fault it at all and will definitely visit again.

The description on booking.com is slightly missleading - "4 bedrooms ... and 4 bathrooms fitted with a shower." I can confirm that there is 4 bedrooms, 2 with ensuites (with shower cubicles), 1 upstairs shared bathroom (with a bath only) and a downstairs toilet. If I had known this prior to booking - I wouldn't have booked and it was certainly dissapointing to find out after travelling for 7 hours. 1 of the double rooms upstairs was so small, it really should have been the single room and then the room with 2 single beds was absolutely enormous. The wi-fi is not great (but didn't bother us too much). The photos on booking.com show a gazebo over the hot tub but that wasn't there and we stayed on a weekend where it rained constantly so this put a bit of a dampner on using this facility. The DVD player in the cinema room makes a very loud continuous clicking noise which makes it impossible to relax and actually watch the film, and it seems to be very cold in that room when the rest of the house was lovely and warm.

Obviously it's an absolutely stunning property on beautiful grounds, the views are incredible (when it's not foggy). The house had everything we could want and more and found we had probably over packed. The host left an assortment of tea bags, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, cleaning products, dog drying towels, dog bowels, dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods - I could go on!! The place was absolutely spotless and not a speck of dust in sight. The instructions to get to the lodge, parking and getting the keys was all very straight forward.

Cinema room and games room need heated as cold. It's a shame as rest of the the house was lovely and warm.

Great location for walks and not far from Inverurie with lots of shops and leisure activities. Very spacious house and main areas toasty warm. Kids loved games and cinema room. Hot tub for adults a lovely bonus. Easy check in and out and friendly owner.

A perfect location to spend a wintery weekend with family. The place is spacious. Super hot tub. Lovely views & place for our 2 labradors. All family really enjoyed. Host Lorraine was so friendly.

The hot tub could have been bigger as there were 8 of us and the beds could have been more comfortable. But over all had a very enjoyable stay

The location was brilliant, the town was only a couple of miles away and great walks on the door step. The pool table was a great addition to the house. The hostess was very Accommodating and was there to answer any questions we had.

no wifi, couldn’t watch the TV cause of the lack of wifi, hot tub was a little small for the amount of people. Hot tub should have had a little roof over it so could use in all weathers

The location of this property was amazing, the size of this property was so spacious and the facilities on offer was superb! The owner of this property left nothing out! Absolutely excellent!
