The room looked a little tired and the bed was really small, it was also really warm and the air con didn’t seem to be working, we were also on a main road so although we did keep the window open it was noisy with traffic all night.

Location it was purposely picked for this and it’s was a short 10 min walk to the centre, although if driving the car park is an additional £11 per day.

Unfortunately the accessible room did not meet our expectations. The shower did not have any grab bars or a seat. The chair, singular, was uncomfortable. The mattresses were old and I could hear the springs creaking as I turned.

Felt the rooms we had could do with some updating, the carpet was old and showed some signs of wear and tear. The signage in the hotel was a bit confusing, easy to get lost when trying to find your room as some signs contradicted each other. There were some stains on the walls and on the ceiling in my room which, I think for the price of an executive room, shouldn’t be the case. One light was broken which, again, I feel for the price, shouldn’t be the case. The big bath in the room was fantastic as was the shower, but my friend, who paid the same price, didn’t have a bath in her room. This was a real shame as it wasn’t able to be rectified on our visit due to the hotel being fully booked.

Location is great, 8 minute metro ride from central station and the metro is right beside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been nicer. Toiletries in the bathroom were amazing. Fully loaded complimentary mini fridge which was a nice touch.

TV had some issues connecting, the program kept dropping out. Bathroom fan was noisy and sounded like it was on its last legs.

Was dissappointed with a shower head in the bath. Not sure if that's the normal set up in the hotel, but I think it's a little dated and would much prefer a walk in shower.

Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We had a lovely meal at the Italian restaurant in the evening and breakfast was good too. Room was spacious and we had a very comfy and massive bed. We both slept very well.

On Sunday morning we were woken by visitors to a room down the corridor. They returned three times between 5:30am and about 7am, excitable and noisy at the end of a night out. We complained to them and they apologised - said they were not staying and just wanted to say goodbye, clearly the worse for wear
