The bed was huge, but had a big gap in the middle as well. Only one bright light in the room and no soft lights.

Very spacious room and bathroom. Loved the owners, who work really hard to give you a great experience. The inn is great, go have your meal there (with extremely large portions).

    Simple but accommodating.

The village was a highlight. Lovely staff. Very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were large and well equipped. Big bathroom. Would be good for ideal for people needing accessibility. Pub kn site but heard no noice as windows were double glazed. Huge bed and bedroom. Huge TV. Tasty breakfast. Went out of their way to provide tailored breakfasts.

No fridge in room. Bulb missing from bedside light. Hairs in washbasin plug, dust ( shed skin scales ) over bathroom light. Staff member friendly but skin tight cycle shorts at breakfast not acceptable.

Lovely location. Excellent, purpose built chalet block, good value for money.

Outside areas a bit scruffy. Cigarette butts everywhere. Breakfast poor. Cheap bread for toast and cold coffee. Wasn’t able to have a cooked breakfast as we were a few minutes late.

Chalet type rooms in grounds of pub. Clean and comfortable. Bed was huge. Nice bathroom with walk in shower.

Convenient location for us being only 0.5 hour from Dunster, nice large, comfortable bedroom and bathroom both very well appointed. We can’t comment on the breakfast as we had to leave for our event before it starts at 0830.

An evening meal - we booked last minute so didn’t realise the restaurant was closed.

Breakfast was lovely. They weren’t serving evening meals on the night we stayed.

Can't fault the Ancient Mariner itself but there is no local bus or taxi service

The staff were all friendly and helpful and so were the customers, the breakfast was lovely and we didn't have to wait long, we had an evening meal which was also very good. The rooms are spacious and recently had a refurb.

Accommodation was great, my only fault was no hairdryer as I had checked website before hand and said there was one, hence I did not take mine.
