It was a perfect location as well as being a comfortable apartment. It was enough space for the both of us, and the outside area was nice as well. Roger was great to deal with.

Nothing, it was all excellent.

The flat was perfect for a couple. The Studio made for a very romantic and easy to manage for space for the two of us. One of us could be cooking while the other reclined. The bathroom, although no bath, has an excellent shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and well organised with everything you'd need for a stay. There is a Sainsburys Local 2 minutes walk away, which makes preparing breakfast etc very convenient. Roger very kindly sorted free parking in the car park right outside the gate to the block of flats.

We stayed in the boutique York garden studio, which is beautiful and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Our hosts Roger and Louise were exceptional. Easy to communicate with and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They also left us some fresh roses and a bottle of fizz for our arrival. The studio is in a fantastic location for visiting York. Parking is included with your stay, which is very handy. I can highly recommend staying here if you are looking to stay in York. 10/10

Beautiful studio apartment a few minutes walk from the minster. Well equipped with everything you would need. Very big comfortable bed. The hosts were lovely, very helpful and we appreciated the flowers and prosecco on arrival also the later check out and free parking ❤️

Absolutely got the wow factor. It was so beautiful especially the decor. The flowers and champagne was a lovely touch. Everything was spotless and had everything you needed. Fantastic studio with high quality chattels and beautifully decorated. Great outdoor area. Was greeted with flowers, a card and champagne which was great. Fantastic location 5 min walk to town centre, close to York Minster, and Shambles. Highly Recommend.

Nothing at all not to like. Our whole stay was fantastic mostly due to having such an excellent apartment to stay in.

The Apartment was perfectly appointed for a short stay in York. It was less than 5 mins walk to York Minster and then into town. The Apartment was spotlessly clean with absolutely everything we needed from kitchen set up to tv. The hosts were amazing with instructions and sorting car parking. I would recommend everyone to stay here!

The only thing that could have been better was the weather, which the hosts could not control, although having somewhere so nice to come back to and relax made it a little more acceptable : )

I loved the studio, the style, it was spotless, had everything we needed, lovely garden and even left flowers and bubbly which was a really nice touch, so close to everything, I have bad knees and I found it was a perfect location Also the hosts were really good, kept in touch, extended parking and check out and made everything flow easily

All my needs had been anticipated, but some information about where to recycle waste would have been useful; I saw someone taking their recycling to the bins and so found where the bins were.

The location was excellent. I was close enough to the city centre to be able to reach the places I wanted to be, yet far enough away that I wasn't bothered by any outside noise. The apartment was so stylish, yet still had a cosy and comfortable feel to the place. Welcoming flowers and a bottle of fizz were set out for me in the room - a fabulous touch that made me feel valued as a customer . I loved staying here and would like to return. Being able to sit outside in a private courtyard garden was what made me chose this apartment over others ; it was lovely to sit outside and hear the Minster bells in the evening, or to have a morning cup of tea outside.

Can’t think of a thing!

The Garden Studio is just brilliant, the location is amazing, all the places you’d expect to visit whilst in York you can comfortably walk to from the garden studio. The property is very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. Upon arrival we had some lovely roses, a bottle of fizz and a personalised welcome card which was such a lovely touch - especially as it was an anniversary celebration! Roger and Louise (the hosts) were brilliant with communication from the moment of booking, keeping us updated with things including the car parking that had also been taking care of for the duration of our stay! The bed is comfy and the shower is lovely too! Overall a very comfortable and convenient base to stay whilst exploring lovely York!

The studio was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Excellent location for getting out and about to explore York. We particularly liked the secluded outside patio area, having stayed in York before outside space is something we have never had and it just made the stay that bit better. The hosts were fantastic, very easy to contact and quick to reply. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and will stay here again in the future.

Lovely studio apartment , excellent location in a secure complex . Communication with owners was excellent , a lovely surprise gift on arrival . Pretty Outside courtyard - excellent to sit out in warm weather which we experienced whilst a 3 night trip to York . Close to shopping , restaurants & all major attractions !

Amazing location, so close to the York Minster and Exhibition Square for all sightseeing meeting points. The apartment is beautifully decorated with all amenities. Roger was so helpful when we were struggling to get through the gate late at night. Clean and comfortable with clear instructions. We also loved the fizz and flowers and card. We were able to check out late which was really a kind and generous gesture. I'll be back even if it's for a staycation. Thank you so much.

Upstairs apartment was a little noisy on the Sunday night but we didn’t notice it any other time.

Excellent location, lovely self-contained and clean apartment with plenty of room for a couple or solo traveller. Roger and Louise had placed a beautiful fresh bunch of roses and a bottle of Prosecco for our arrival which was an excellent touch and got our break off to a wonderful start. The facilities were modern and in great working order. Our hosts were very contactable and helpful without being overbearing. The apartment is quiet but very close to many pubs, shops and restaurants. We were attending a wedding at The Hospitium in the Museum Gardens and this was only a five minute walk away which was ideal in the cold! We would definitely stay again!

We loved everything about this property. Roger (the owner) provided great information on where to park, how to access the apartment and checked that we’d settled in well. The apartment was pristine but welcoming, secure, quiet, well equipped and the bed comfortable. Location was a short walk from York Minster Cathedral, the old city wall and the gorgeous old city of York. Supermarket 2 minutes walk, parking even closer.
