Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt’s all good. Pub can be quiet which is no bad thing as was there for the location, a good overnight sleep and the breakfast.
The staff are excellent. Brooke on reception so helpful. Manager Will also helpful, efficient and a good guy. Chef cooks a first class full English. Very comfortable beds and premium standard rooms. Decent value.

United KingdomNothing. Loved it.
Just love this hotel/pub. Have stayed a few times and always been blown away by value, staff and comfort of the rooms. Next level tea making facilities in room and the most comfortable beds. Worth splurging in the suites to get the corner rooms which are palatial.

United KingdomThe mini bar was particularly expensive, we didn't use it. But I guess all mini bars are overpriced.
We booked a suite which was spacious and comfortable. Lovely big windows. We had room service which was easy to order via the app. Good breakfast options. Comfy large bed, Sky Tv.

United StatesThe price of the food was very high. The breakfast was very basic at the Asda customers to pay €15 for the coffee should’ve had reels but was limited to only one cup and that normally got cold. You drank it at 11 o’clock and did not allow access to the guest into the sitting area after that, so if you were traveler visiting Uk?, you could have a guest come and chat with you after hours you could not access it if you would jetlagged before 7 AM a.m. because it was locked off during this time.
It was a beautiful decorated vintage property with a lot of detail like lemon water in the door to our room to a coffee maker to personalized stuff. It was a very cozy place. It almost went back home. We love the beds. The comforter was very, very soft. The room was exceptionally clean. I love the vintage feeling to brewers inn and the garden was awesome.

United KingdomWe travelled by train. We met a friend in the evening at the restaurant part. She is disabled. Sadly ,she wasn't allowed to use the car park, even though we hadn't taken up a spot . Luckily, she has a disability badge, so did find somewhere to park, but it was an inconvenience.
Such pretty rooms, everything needed in a mini bar. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very helpful. Would highly recommended. Many thanks to all the staff 🙏

United KingdomBit loud with the window open but that’s London for you
Brewers Inn pub is one of my favourite and being able to stay there and enjoy its ambience was amazing. Rooms are nicely and tastefully decorated and location is great. I loved the coffee and tea station in the room and the fact that plant based milk was provided. It doesn’t happen often, almost never really. All products in the room looked sustainable and selected with a good thought.

United KingdomThe only thing I noticed was the carpet was torn up a bit in a few places in my room. Didn’t affect my stay though.
Very cosy and high end for the price, I was happily surprised! The pub below is enormous, well decorated and even has a fireplace. Would happily stay there again if in the Wandsworth area again!

United KingdomLocation is good, 10min walk from Wandsworth Town station and major bus routes right outside. Consequently right on the junction of 3 major roads, so pretty noisy for traffic. If you’re a light sleeper you will struggle.
Classic London boozer, but revamped. The rooms are cosy, probably a bit small for the larger guest. Excellent cooked breakfast with high quality ingredients.

GermanyThe hotel is above a pub, so in the evening things can get noisy. Ask for a room at the second floor and away from the stairs.
