Nice Inn close to Tintagel castle

The shower, I think it should be a door but they replace it with a curtain so during the shower it didn't stay put and the water is all over the place.

This Inn has the best pub food ever!!! I stayed there for 4 nights and every night I ate dinner there. I picked different dishes every night and every single one of them was fabulous and delicious. The prices also are very reasonable.

A small thing that had minimum impact, but the Inn shut down early in the evening, so when i returned after having dinner out, it was all shut up so we didn't get to experience an evening there.

Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Room was perfect for our needs. The location was perfect for our stay, Tintagel is a lovely place and the Inn is well placed to enjoy all it has to offer.

The bed was very uncomfortable, mattress needs replacing. Pub toilets need working locks. Evening meal was a let down, given hard, scrappy chips with meal. No one came back to ask if meal was okay due to being so busy.

Staff were friendly and chatty. Staff work their socks off! Ideal location, delicious breakfast and yummy sandwiches.

    Room and breakfast.

Breakfast excellent. Poor staff levels, one young girl doing everything front of house. Went out to eat in the evening because first night we couldn’t find anyone. Think they are more a lunchtime place.someone walked into sliding glass door, no manifestation on it.

It was very windy and wet and the fanlight window didn't close properly to eliminate the noise and so sleep was disturbed. We still very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location with such handy parking. Good welcome. Enjoyed both our evening meal and the extensive breakfast. Nice room with everything we needed. All staff were friendly. No rush to check out and afterwards we were allowed to leave car in the car park to explore the area. Nice suggestion to walk from rear garden up to the church and then the castle.

The twin room was big but its shower room is relatively small. The separate sink which is out in the bedroom is not convenient for us. One bed was quite creaky.

Large parking space. Dinner and Breakfast at the hotel were wonderful. A few minutes walk to the entrance of Tintagel Castle. The town was quiet in the evening but very lively during the day when all the shops are open.

Our bed was very cumbersome. Very uncomfortable headboard and big legs sticking out of the bed that we kept hitting ourselves on. Our room was cleaned and bed not made on a daily basis

Ideal location in a quirky little town with plenty of independent shops, cafes and pubs serving food

We understand that old buildings have their quirks: this old pub has creaky floorboards and soundproofing issues.

This little pub in the heart of Tintagel village, has that quirky ‘old pub’ feel. It is a short walk to the entrance to ‘King Arthur’s castle’ and the coastal walking paths. Our room was comfortable, and the shower hot! There was a variety of options for Breakfast and our choice of hot food was tasty.

Only negative was our mattress which was suffering from a previous severely overweight guest so it sloped very badly on one side.

Owner operated older inn with accommodation and extensive bar and food area in the heart of Tintagel. Finished around a smugglers’ theme with many artifacts and other touches. We had a clean and reasonably spacious room and also enjoyed the creatively prepared and tasty menu. Jo the host is a pleasure to deal with and readily accommodated our special requests.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. They kept the kitchen open one night despite us arriving a bit later for dinner.
