The room was exceptionally clean, designed well and perfectly equipped. It would be difficult to beat on a value for money basis. John is a superb host/landlord and the pub is spot on with great, honest pub food and a good selection of beers. The young ladies serving were all brilliant.

Going home so soon!

What's not to like !! ? John was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. The room was quirky and luxurious ( bedding particularly ) It was well equipped with thoughtful extras such as milk and fresh fruit. Food in the restaurant was superb. Handy electric charging. Ideal peaceful location for us and though we had intermittent phone signal it was actually a blessing in disguise!! Cannot enthuse enough about this place, it's got it all. 👌

Absolutely nothing!!

An exceptional property. Everything was of the highest standard and John was a generous host who made us so welcome, this was the first night of our honeymoon and he even left a complimentary bottle of bubbly, we can't wait to return. The real ales and food in the inn are of the highest quality - not to be missed.

We liked everything, there isn’t anything we would change.

The room was wonderful. It was a little bit of luxury and quirkiness in a beautiful quiet location. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and had gone to great lengths to think and provide everything you might need and even items you didn’t know you needed but you did. The quality of the facilities was excellent and we would have gladly moved into the Fuggle for good. We particularly loved the luxury of a very comfortable four poster bed and we really appreciated the Spock wall picture….The room has a private terrace with seating and a table and chairs. We ate a cooked breakfast, prepared ourself in the well quipped kitchen. The apartment is part of the Bluebell pub and we had dinner in the pub’s restaurant, the service and food were excellent. You are advised to book before you go as the restaurant gets very busy. The owners have their own brewery on site and we sampled the beers, which were delicious. We will definitely go back and stay longer. It’s the perfect location for exploring the area.

The decor was quirky, and the room was very comfortable, with a good little kitchen attached. Good hot shower too. The host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The decked area outside was so peaceful. The room was beautifully decorated and felt luxe without feeling cluttered. It was a really calm environment. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The kitchen had enough utensils to make a meal without feeling cluttered. The host was really nice and showed us around. There are lovely touches in the room with a remote to turn off lamps in the room, speakers built into the ceiling, a complimentary bowl of fruit in front of a large smart TV with all of the streaming apps on it. We could not believe the place was so cheap for what we offered. We are really sorry we did not get time to visit the pub the Fuggle is attached to as it is run by the same people, so must be great.

Nothing. Best place I have stayed in in over 35 years of work travel. Only downside would be that I often travel for work with colleagues so the chances of staying together would be limited, if that is what we wanted.

Great rural location, in a fabulous setting, the view from the room over the gardens were superb, Nice touches like a fruit bowl, tea and coffee with fresh milk in the fridge, made it all the more special, John was a fabulous, charming and very friendly host, with a great pub too!

Our stay at The Fuggle was brilliant. We were visiting to attend a wedding at Whaplode Manor (10-15 minutes in the car - we pre-booked taxis both ways £40 round trip and was no issues). John was found behind the bar at his lovely little pub and gave us a brief but not rushed guided tour. He had even pre-heated the room with the wood fire place and air-con unit on the go. The little apartment was perfect for what we needed. We decided to get a Chinese takeaway that first night and John gave us a stellar recommendation. For those wanting to sort their own food out its fully kitted out with a oven, hob and microwave. The bathroom facilities were brilliant and I had no issues as an extra large man at 6ft 4. The bed was super comfy and again large enough for me to be comfortable without disturbing my partner. Access couldn't be easier with the car park literally outside the doors and after locking up we had our own key fob to get entry. Overall couldn't have had a more pleasant time at The Fuggle.

Nothing to dislike

Superbly decorated. Everything you need with addition of complimentary fruit bowl and milk in fridge. Excellent private deck area for alfresco dining . Large corner rattan seating area for soaking up the last of September sunshine. Great for visiting local garden/antique centres. Sandringham and Hunstanton only 40 mins away. Lovely flat countryside to take in driving around a thoroughly relaxing stay. Highly recommend.
