Our room this time was a little unloved— loads of cobwebs and just felt a little unclean in bathroom and bedroom. Ivy growing through bathroom ceiling- which would be fine except there were lots of cobwebs - even from bath to wall, which suggests it was possibly not cleaned on the day? We loved the bathroom- very sweet, but did find having no shower in the room a bit tricky.

The hotel is really lovely and quirky! We stayed in room 11, the loft room at the top and it was great to have our own space without any other guests sharing the floor. The bar and restaurant downstairs are great and the food was really nice.

All good! The problem I had with noise was addressed and dealt with straight away.

The room was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very accommodating and the food was fantastic. I had a slight problem with noise at night but the hotel was very understanding and positively receptive to my feedback. They dealt with the issue straight away.

room very dark - a couple of table lights not working. Sofa quite stained - could easily have been cleaned and made to look good. toilet seat loose. small things really but point to it showing signs of wear and tear.

great location. Nice bar and restaurant area. Quiet in terms of road noise as it had effective secondary double glazing. Great shower. I enjoyed staying here again but it’s felt like it had lost a bit of its edge and showing signs of wear and tear. breakfast not good value for money at £25.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful room design. Perfect location for easily walking to central Norwich but with lots of dedicated parking. As quiet and peaceful as being in the countryside while still being right in the middle of the city. Great food and friendly staff.

Just small niggles - they will not stop us wanting to return in the future; En Suite - handsoap and cream on the wall by the basin very high up and difficult to manage. Shelf under mirror protrudes some way out and one can catch one's forehead on it when cleaning teeth. Bedroom - the shelves holding the kettle, cups etc. were not fixed in the frame and could move quite easily and fall through the frame (in fact one of the shelves had moved along quite a bit which is why we noticed it.) Also, too high up, which made using the kettle difficult, and speaking of the kettle - it would not fit under the tap so had to be filled in small quantities using one of the glasses. One of the chairs had a leg which would not actually fall off, but needs tightening as it was very loose (Room 22) In case you are wondering, we are not really tiny people - just average!

Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good with a wide varied menu. All the staff were lovely and really helpful - especially the lady who booked us in and gave us a different room with less stairs when she saw how lame I was. The box for valuables is a good touch, but sadly no key. Also the small fridge with contents available for purchase is a very nice feature. Another nice thing was the small clock to be found in the drawer with the hairdryer.

Bath ran too slowly. Kitchen only big enough for 2 people not 4. Would have liked white wine on offer. No washing up liquid.

We didn't have breakfast but dinner was good and staff helpful and friendly. Room clean and comfortable and very presentable. Good that coffee and tea provided. nice garden area for summer and good parking, Bedding and towels No washing up liquid. good.

There was a huge water stain on the ceiling, the paint was bubbling.
