Everything. Location is beautiful and quiet. Hotel is decorated outstandingly. Bed super comfortable, en suite was the biggest i have yet to see...had a self standing bath which begged to be soaked in. Food is absolutely gorgeous.

Stayed during a heat wave and whilst there was a tower fan in the room it was not very effective. An oscilating round fan would have been better, but my bad, as I didn't raise it with staff.

It was warm and clean and well appointed. They had thought about reducing plastic! The bed was really comfortable and the whole place was exactly what we needed after a long cold walk!

The only thing that I can think of, would be to have more comfy seating in the bar area for residents and maybe some sandwich/snack options available if not eating in the restaurant. Not a criticism at all, just a thought for more options for resident's offering and income!

Room is really lovely, and very clean and with everything you could want/need. Staff are so friendly, happy and always smiling and always have time for you. Food is really good. Breakfast choices is brilliant. Had Sunday lunch on our stay this time, which was really lovely, and great to see a full restaurant.

What can i say other than ...Thank you !! for being such a wonderful and helpful Hotel , nothing is too much trouble for the 2 ladies on the reception desk that made our stay so great , i would not hesitate to recommend anyone to stay here and will certainly be back again in the near future .

The only negative from our stay was the bacon on the breakfast, which had been pre cooked and had gone hard.

Room was lovely, quite spacious with everything we needed. We ate in Monroe's restuarant in the evening, which was excellent and breakfast in the morning was great with a good choice of hot food. Staff were also friendly and welcoming.

There were a few repairs needed in our lodge (Pennard) The loo seat was loose one side which made lifting the lid awkward. The bedside lampshade had snapped one side and needed replacing and a bathroom led downlight was out. And as always in hotel rooms there was a shortage of milk sticks and sugar, which is annoying. Seems to be a general hotel thing so not specific to this establishment. I guess it's difficult to keep cost down if punters are cleaning out the tea tray. It's still annoying to be welcomed with four stick of milk between two of you. At what price per night can you cease to bring your own extra tea, coffee, milk and sugar? However, a good time was had by all.

Great location to explore The Gower. A 10min drive to the Mumbles and Caswell beach. Hotel is in a pretty location. The lodge was clean and spacious for us and our dog. Very good food. Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much.
