Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSome cobwebs.and dead.flies. Bathroom floor still wet when we arrived understandable but took ages to dry. Also despite being dog.friendly once we had paid and just before arrival asked.to.pay.extra £10 for dog. This should be more upfront prior to staying.
Lovely decor and.location. Comfortable bed. Good shower.

On entering the cottage, we were pleasantly surprised how nicely presented it was for how much we paid. Andrea's efforts to make you're stay home from home were definitely met. Very clean and well equipped.

AustraliaNothing! Everything was perfect.
Close proximity to town. Amazing views to the ocean and the Great Orme. A gorgeous, spacious cottage within buildings of the original farm. Set into the side of a hill with so much character. Clean, updated facilities. Quiet at night. Easy parking. Amazing value for money. Highly recommend for a great stay in Llandudno and surrounds.

United KingdomNot an issue for us, but staircase from front door to first floor apartment is quite steep, though with rail. Anyone with mobility or balance issues needs to be aware. Relied on 4G whilst there as Wifi connection offered seemed to exclude internet. Given location not surprising that 4G connectivity was patchy especially in the lounge. Not really suitable if you need to keep in touch with your office or clients whilst there!! Limited toiletries so always best to bring some extra shampoo or body wash
Good location, short drive or walk into Llandudno. Comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. Nice view of bay from both lounge and bedroom, allocated parking. A good location for a short break if you want to be just out of Llandudno Bay

AnguillaEverything you need you can find in the cottage! We decided to make some food in the evening due to bad weather and we found all cutlery, pots and pans to comfortably make anything. Location is about 20min stroll from everything which means a great night sleep with no other noise! They even have dvds you can watch for a very nostalgic evening! The owners seem lovely and had a lovely chat with plenty recommendations for us in the morning :)

United KingdomNothing major , dining table was a little unstable so sloshed my tea 🍵 🤣 but no big deal.
Location was stunning, lucky with the weather. Facilities were great. Quiet, picturesque location. Property felt cosy and inviting. Able to walk direct from the property either in to town ( i imagine it would take 30 -40 minutes) or join the footpath and cross the main road to the Little Orme. Lots of other places to walk aswell. Pleasant having comfy sofa in bedroom , able to sit and read or gaze at the distant view of the Great Orme and Llandudno Pier. Thanks ❤ Love Botanical Babe cafe in town, Ffin y Parc Gallery is fab. Mostyn Gallery has great cafe. The Next Door restaurant is so good you would think you were in a city. RSPB Conwy is a short drive away. The Albion in Conwy is great for real ales ! 🍺 Altogether an amazing stay !

United KingdomThere’s nothing not to like . I was dubious about the granary cottage as it has steep stairs up to the living area as I have a disability but to be honest it did not bother me as it has been well thought out with an extended hand rail and all living area is upstairs so it’s only getting in and out of the property it did not effect my stay . Also as a recommendation possibly a king size bed .
This is our second visit to this property and can not recommend it enough. Great views 15 minute walk into the town . We were originally booked in the stables but were offered the choice of the granary cottage and this was gorgeous lots of thought out detail and spacious , and views of the sea . Dog friendly too. Can’t wait to come back the owners are so friendly and accommodating .. love your style Amanda .

United KingdomBodafon Road is a little country lane with a primary school. We hit it at the wrong time and got caught in the school run. If you approach Bodafon Hall from the west (up Nant y Gamar from the coast road) you might avoid the worse of this - or avoid the school run.
Great little place overlooking Llandudno Bay. The hosts were delightful and really easy to talk to. The Scullery was ideal for the two of us. Just the right size and all the necessary facilities.
