We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIt is a shame that it is not possible to have a full hot evening meal - so we went out leaving a beautiful setting. We probably should have ordered the platters which are on offer to avoid a journey out. Breakfast is also rather limited.
This is a very luxurious B&B in a beautiful setting overlooking the Castle of Mey. Our room was just lovely - and so comfortable. Amazing bathroom! The residents lounge area was also stunning. Highly recommend. The staff were so welcoming and helpful.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our two week NC500 road trip. It was incredibly beautiful and set in such an amazing location - right next to the castle with sweeping views up and down the coast. Our room was perfect for 1 night (so peaceful and quiet) and we enjoyed the shared lounge and fireplace. Breakfast was 10/10 and the dining room was beautiful too. Jean was so lovely and could not have done more to help us - she even gave us a run down of all the photos on the walls and the stories behind the royal connections.
