The Grand is so welcoming. Soon as you enter you are hit by its class. The whole hotel smells divine. It's so serene, calming the staff aren't running around they seem to be so calm and reassuring. When we checked out I had a few shopping bags so the receptionist very kindly placed them all into a beautiful Hotel bag and also offered us a few bottles if water as it was a hot day. Will be returning . Friendly staff, beautiful surrounding and a relaxing stay

Everything was excellent! No bad words to say.

Everything was simply wonderful, I genuinely don't have a bad word to say about our stay at this hotel! Brilliant, the breakfast, the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the attention to detail were all second to none! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, I couldn't have been more pleased or felt more safe at this hotel.

When I was at breakfast, I had gotten up to get some fruit. On the table was my half eaten waffles, pastries and juice. When I got back after a minute or so everything had been cleared away. The staff should have checked that I was actually done or had left already before clearing my table. Luckily I wasn't planning to eat anymore of the food but still wanted my juice and cutlery. I had to get more juice and ask for a new set of cutlery. The waffles they make to order, so if I actually wanted to eat more of it, they would have either had to make it again meaning I would have had to wait 10 minutes or so or I just wouldn't have been able to eat it which would have been a shame as I specifically paid for breakfast. Would have scored the hotel a 9/10 but had to reduce a point for this.

Friendly staff, very professional. The bedroom was spotless. It was like new. Usual kettle and coffee/tea service in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable.

There is no parking. They do have a deal with a multi-storey carpark nearby, but if you arrive or leave by car getting stuff to and from a car is a hassle. Paying for parking on the street was a complete faff. The hotel should do something about that. It would put me off going again, which is a shame as it is an excellent hotel otherwise.

Great place. Friendly staff. Lovely place to be. The room I was in was great, it was very spacious. The view was decent. Penhaligon soap. The bar is nice.

The hotel has such a luxurious feel with special touches such as robes in the bathroom and very high end toiletries. The 12pm check out is also an added bonus.

Disappointing on-property restaurant. I wanted an “American-style” breakfast of scrambled eggs, fried bacon, and some form of potatoes. They had nothing even remotely like that.

Luxurious property - very comfortable, immaculately clean, fabulous location directly adjacent to Temple Square. Large number of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

Breakfast isn't worth the money, it was very bland and tasteless. We ordered room service - it was carried up on a tray, no trolley and the food wasn't even covered and had come up 3 floors so it was cold by the time it got to us and not very sanitary. We thought this was very poor. We also asked for more tea/coffee - when we answered the door to a member of staff she was just juggling it all in her hands (tea, coffee, sugar and bottles of water/milk) and had to pass it to me one by one as I put it in the room which just seemed very unprofessional. It could have been bought up on a tray or something to make things easier for us both.

Location was excellent, everything was in walking distance. The hotel was stunning, staff really friendly, we even got to check in early. We went in at 11:30am to drop our luggage off but they managed to check us in there and then.

Although we arrived an hour later than check in, the room wasn't ready so the lady on reception gave us a voucher for a complimentary drink each (would have expected that for having to wait). Went to the bar downstairs who told me I could only have one drink even though it had been wrote on the voucher. I did argue and ask them to call reception and they then let me have the two complimentary drinks. It did take the edge off the whole experience, especially as we were only there for one night for our joint birthday and anniversary celebration.

The hotel is gorgeous and everything we wanted it to be. Facilities and rooms were fantastic.
