Parking at hotel was free on street but limited. Pub provided disc for 2 hours free. Car park nearby for £1.80 a day.

Lovely recently re-furbished room. Tastefully decorated. Delicious evening meal in pub restaurant. Superb breakfast. Very welcoming staff.

Great hotel great staff, on negative was that I have arthritis and the stairs were troublesome, ground floor would have been perfect.

Unfortunately the electricity went out for a couple of hours, meaning we had to seek dinner in the town. An excellent Indian restaurant nearby saved the day.

The inn is beautifully situated in the middle of Bedale, N. Yorks. The staff (and customers!) were extremely friendly, and the room could not be faulted. We intend to stay there again.

Floor in the room creaked, so I was concerned I was waking the whole floor when getting up early.

The single room was perfect for what I needed (a place to shower, change and crash) plenty of room with a good sized en suite. Can't fault it for the price and the breakfasts were spot on!

I liked everything! The location to where I was attending (5 miles from Philip Kirby Racing stables). Location within Bedale - right in the middle of the Main Street. The staff were excellent, as was the room, and the food - both breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. I couldn’t fault this place at all (and I’m usually quite picky!). Loved my entire stay (3 days/2 nights), would totally recommend.

Good central location in Bedale, plenty of on street parking adjacent to the hotel. Comfortable room and good restaurant. A selection of real ales a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only slight downside was street noise when the window was left open.

I Couldn't find a single fault with stay, brilliantly run and lovely input from owners at breakfast time.

Wonderful place to stay, very helpful staff / owners, great they had their own carpark as parking in the free part of the street is limited, Had an evening meal which was lovely, Breakfast this morning was really good too, served by the owners I think, Very attentive. Bedroom was large and clean. we had bedroom No2, sash windows on the main street but quiet when closed. Bed was very comfortable and large (I'm 6'2" tall) nice touches like biscuits, cotton wool and buds, extra milk pods and toiletries included. would definitely stay again. great location too. Nice butchers a couple of doors down and a fruit & veg shop which seemed to stock everything.

It is next to the market place and kinda busy street, but we knew that beforehand and actually it wasn't too loud.

Spacious room, nice shower, friendly staff. Good dinner, and if you are here, order the sticky toffee pudding, please...
