You have to be a little careful when using the entrance from the street. The pub utilizes the lower level and the doors swing wildly sometimes and you can get hit by accident.

The property is beautifully decorated and the staff absolutely lovely. The top, while a bit of a climb, was quiet and very comfortable.

In these types of buildings in historic areas it is assumed that there will be no elevator. We enjoy this, but possibly challenging for the “faint of knees”. The staff is more than willing to take your luggage up and down.

Very quaint boutique style rooms with wonderful pub and dining downstairs. The room was well appointed with some unexpected extras. The staff were beyond excellent in hospitality. They seemed to take our stay personally. The property is located near many historic and royal landmarks, and within 2 miles walk to some.

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet area, just a short walk to Queensway and Bayswater metro stations. The rooms are super clean and cosy, the pub downstairs has a great atmosphere! Thanks to the staff, who made us feel very welcome!! Would love to visit again!

My room was accessed by stairs that might be difficult for someone with mobility problems, although this wasn't a problem for me.

The accommodation was spacious, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and very quiet - I was worried that there might be noise from the pub downstairs or from the street, but there was none at all. The staff were friendly and helpful. The area has lots of amenities, including Portobello Road market. Paddington station is around 10 minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was insanely clean, you could literally smell how clean it was! The bed was very comfortable and the linen clean and soft. A lot of complimentary amenities - coffee machine AND milk foamer, robes and slippers, chips, cookies etc - plus a lot of nice little touches here and there - warm towels anyone? The staff was amazingly kind and welcoming. We had also dinner at the pub we recommend it, food was delicious and the atmosphere very cosy! it's conveniently located and very quiet at night. Plus it has an amazing style! Can't wait to come back ❤️

Since the moment we came in the Pub the treatment was excellent. Welcome drink, relaxed atmosphere and amazing and comfortable room. Bed was supercomfortable and bathroom and shower spacious. Besides that, we had dinner one of our evenings there and it was delicious. A gem to stay in London

Such a fun experience to stay above a pub. Rooms were so clean and well designed, every detail was thought of, coffee and tea in rooms, snacks, big shower, suck a cozy bed. Staff was so friendly and helpful!!

This was my second stay at The Hayden, and this time I was on the first floor - closer to the main pub/restaurant area. I definitely could hear noise and music from the pub from my room, which was a minus point as I needed a good night's sleep before my work event the next day. When I stayed on the second floor, the noise was less intrusive. Very early the next morning (around 5am) I could hear loud sounds from downstairs: voices, furniture being moved around - I assume it was cleaners? This was a minus point. I would say though, that one member of staff who looked after me did her best to find ear plugs (she couldn't find them) but had made a point of turning the music down around 10.30pm. If you need a restful night, I'd suggest asking for a room above the first floor.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Greeted me warmly straight away as I entered, even though the pub area was busy on a Friday late afternoon. I was offered a free drink and checked in easily and efficiently. I liked the location of the pub, easy to find and close to where I was working the next day. Plenty of lovely shops and cafes (it's situated in a very affluent area of London). The room has good facilities, comfy bed, very clean, feels cosy and with a touch of luxury.

Great location, really good pub but the trip was made even more successful by excellent staff. The food was exceptional and I thought reasonably priced. The room was welcoming, spotlessly clean and well stoked with all you would expect and more. I would stay again without hesitation.

Location is perfect. 15 minute walk from Paddington and a 5 minute walk from Bayswater tube station. Fantastic connection to anywhere else in London. The pub is a real sweet gem of a place with great food. The staff are absolutely lovely. The rooms have a calm decor and considering it was over a pub and on the Main Street was totally quiet. Big lovely bathroom. Highly recommended for a stay in London.
