More windows, slightly bigger shower space.

The location was spot on, on a quiet street. Seconds from the town. The room was well presented with lots of space and storage space for clothes etc. owners are lovely people, who made us feel welcome. Overall, brilliant. We really enjoyed our stay here.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the room just a couple of things that didn’t make it a 10 out of 10 pants from guest under the vanity unit in the bathroom a small leak from the bath I couldn’t tell where from and need to update sockets with usb sockets so you don’t take up a socket with your charging plug and change any broken spot lights. Theses are not bad points just something for the owner to be aware of still a great place and would defo re-book

How close it was to all the facilities in the city centre and how tidy it was our hosts where great, use of a kitchen if we wonted anything extra fridge in room with tea making facilities along with the TV But no live channels catch up and Netflix if you signed into your own account

Cannot fault it at all!

What a great find. We fell in love with this place as soon as we entered our room. It's even better in the flesh. Cosy, clean and warm, and in a fantastic location - less than a 10 minute walk from The Shambles, with lots of cool cafes and shops nearby. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a couple of chairs to sit on, too. The bathroom was immaculate and very stylish, and the guest kitchen on the ground floor was a really nice touch. We only met Mike briefly upon arrival, and he was super helpful and friendly. The Polish cleaning lady (sorry, I forgot her name!) was absolutely lovely, too. We enjoyed our chat with her as we were checking out. Next time we visit York, we will definitely try and book a room here again.

My staying were raining day, and the sound of rain hitting the roof was loud. Other than that, it was great.

The room is clean and comfortable, and well equipped. The host Mike is friendly and hospitality. The house is close to everything, will recommend to stay.

An amazing place ! Both rooms were very beautiful designed, as well as the rest of the house. Your own kitchen to cook , with everything to hand . In your room you also have your own fridge, and bathroom , beds are extremely comfortable, and room is well lit with cosy lamps, TV, with Netflix , making you feel very homely . Mike and Viv are one of the best owners I've ever met, very friendly , and so laid back in nature, like you have known them years. Town is just over the bridge, so a 4 minute walk if that, also handy sainsburys is less than a minute, if needing anything quick . Will 100% be back ! Thankyou for the Weekend in York

My bedroom was in the third story and the stairs were quite high. I had no problem with it at all as I was traveling with a small suitcase, but it’s definitely sth to take into account.

The room and bathroom were amazing and super clean. There was also a well equipped shared kitchen. Mike and Vi are nice and helpful.
