    Nothing

Loved everything, was just aware of neighbouring rooms. We had an early start so was worried about walking and making noise as we could hear them

That you can't buy the beer in bottles to take home. A little more care in the visual presentation of the food.

The beer and the location. Friendly Staff.

The position on the booking.com map is marked wrong. I had to use google maps to navigate to the property. I recommend to update it.

I walked the Hadrian Wall path. It was a perfect place to stay and rest. I liked both the room and the breakfast.

    Nothing all good

The welcome was warm and we were escorted and shown our room across the car park. Back in the pub there were ample choices of cask ales brewed on site and the staff and locals were very friendly. The restaurant staff were efficient and the food very good. Would return if needing a quiet place whilst not intending to go out in the evening.

    Relaxed vibe near the Tyne
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Triple Room
    • Stayed 1 night

The room was quite cold. I had wet clothes which I could not dry as the towel rail would not turn on. Although a spectacular space, the glass conservatory where I had my breakfast was very noisy due to lack of soft furnishing/sound absorbent surfaces.

I liked the relaxed vibe of the place and its countryside setting. I had an evening meal in the bar (a fish dish and delicious) and the staff and customers were very friendly. The bar service was brilliant and I enjoyed the beer which is brewed on the site. The room was in a separate block away from the pub so was quiet. It was huge, comfortable and clean.

TV had no picture (Wimbledon finals on whilst we were there), fan in bathroom exceptionally noisy and curtains not blackout lined.

Staying at Keelman's to be close to a particular sporting activity - sculling on the Tyne. It is clean, friendly and convenient.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner, in particular the toilet brush.

The Keelman is the perfect location when visiting my family locally. Accommodation is a little basic but comfortable, breakfast was delicious and lots of choice as we were a mixed group with dietary needs. Location is superb and beautiful surroundings. The river Tyne is literally on the door step with beautiful views and walks. There are facilities for small children with a playground on the premises but also a country park within walking distance.

As a Coeliac some of the staff did not seem too aware of what was required foodwise and I was served a gluten containing meal which I only discovered after getting a reaction. Staff were great when I raised it but it is really important that this does not happen.

Staff all lovely and really helpful. Accommodation was fine for overnight while walking Hadrian’s Wall.
