It’s an old building and the hotel itself has not seen a proper renovation in a while. Narrow staircase, old doors that are not closing properly, some rubbish in corridors. There is no reception staff to be seen. Keys have to be picked up two streets away.

The only good thing about this property was it’s location

Noticed many of the other local properties were being improved

There were plenty of bars, restaurants closed by. Short walk to the pier

Bed uncomfortable Bathroom didn't appear clean and needed a refurb. Nowhere to put personal items and nowhere to hang toilet roll.Tiles had blood splatter on them.Nothing to sit on apart from bed while drinking a hot drink and nowhere to put mug apart from the floor. Door to room bottom hinge broken, looked like it had been kicked in at some point.

    Hotel location good.

We could have done with bedside cupboards and reading lamps each side of the bed but it wasn’t much of a problem.

It is a quaint (Victorian?) tall terrace house in a quiet road at right angles to the beach. Not far from the pier and at the less frantic part of Llandudno. Our room was on the ground floor for easy access. It was very pleasant and we had everything we needed. Pleasantly surprised how generous they were with milk! (Often places are stingy & don’t give enough for more than a couple of hot drinks) We would definitely stay there again.

The central heating was very poor, room very cold bathroom exceptionally cold all the time, we were on the top floor 3rd level, through the door onto the next level down was very warm all the time, no one covering the reception saw one lady once in the 4 days we were there, did see 3 members of staff in the sister hotel, The Post Hotel, reception was covered also. There was a fight for the free parking in the street only finding a place very late in the evening.

    The bed was very comfortable

That the room was warmer and the tv tuned in on arrival.

The room was cold and the shower temp fluctuated between very hot or really cold. The manager was very attentive and helpful and resolved the issue with the room temp.

The family room we had was not clean, the carpet was coming up little ones tripped, the shower knob falls off every 2 seconds when in use, the kettle has to be wedged or it clicks off a connection issue, beetles and spiders on ceiling with lots of cobwebs, room gets very hot, wallpaper etc coming off walls, bunk bed wobbly. Like i said you get what you pay for and was ok for a 1 night stay.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff are lovely and really helpful including the cleaner we met on departure, easy check in etc, cheap you get what you pay for :)

We had no heating for the first day and night, was given a blow heater which seemed unsafe (blue sparks). Was given a replacement and heating fixed for second day. Facilities could have been cleaner.

Location was ideal. Receptionist knowledgeable of local area.

The hotel is dated but that is reflected in the price. If you are expecting luxury this isn’t it, but for somewhere just to rest your head if you are out most of the day it’s fine. Room was a bit small for 4 people and check in was a bit convoluted.

The hotel is in a great location for everything you need. It’s right near the pier and plenty of things to do around the area. Parking can be found on the nearby streets The hotel was warm, clean and fresh towels with toiletries were provided. We also liked that it was dog friendly.

Had to go to sister hotel for information , no one on reception , phone calls rarely answered ,were unable to ask for basics like toilet roll .Window had huge gap in , had to put a towel in the gap to stop wind. Shower was tepid ,didn't drain ,so could not have a shower as the tray would flood.

Warm clean rooms with comfortable beds , nice communal area.
