Bed a bit small, sink too close to the toilet, double plug by wardrobe, one was not usable. The plan was to bring our dog but we didn't, so I think we had the dog room... couldn't lock for at night.

Staff were friendly, felt like I had known a few for years, really felt at ease, lady in bar area was very nice..

Would be nice to invest more in the redecoration of the entire building as it has lots of potential, carpets in rooms needs to be changed, and new windows.

The hotel is in an excellent position, the staff very friendly efficient and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Although there were some bad points, they were suffering problems with the boiler and therefore no heating although we were offered a heater, choices on the menu could have been more varied for dinner and the hotel is tired and in need of many repairs and updating.

We love this hotel but had no hot water for 3 days tv brocken we put a complaint in and we have been informed to tell BOOKING. COM FOR COMPENSATION ALL THE GUESTS WERE INFORMED.

Bedroom was very basic, beds had obviously seen better days as could feel springs.

The location was perfect being situated on the sea front. Had no problems checking in. All staff were very helpful and gave the impression of a good happy team. The breakfast was excellent, all cooked food was hot and plenty of choice.

Breakfast could have been a bit slicker with more choice of cooked breakfast items - mushrooms , black pudding etc. Had to wait a time to get coffee and food trays refilled since there weren't enough staff to cope with the demand

Rooms were on different floors originally.Staff sorted so on same floor but at opposite ends of corridor. One room had a strong smell of urine in bathroom.

While we were on a ground floor room there was a steep stairs from the car park, but we were able to park in the dront and bring our luggage in. Also for some reason there eas a smell in the bathroom which ss a wetroom could have been damp, but told reception and they said they would ask domebody to check it.

The hotel was lovely, instead of a family room they gave us a ground floor seaview room with wetroom. It was really spacious. The breakfast was very good also.

The only thing was we paid for sea view but the window was very foggy inside the double glazing so could not really see out properly and I couldn't clean it as it's on the middle and unaccessable . New window definitely needed but was otherwise a lovely stay

The hotel is a little tired but that's to be expected for a building if that age

Breakfast was excellent. Staff very pleasant and helpful . There were 3 coaches in the same weekend as us so the staff were rushed off their feet but still gave good service . Even though there were notices to say rooms don't get serviced during our stay , because we asked for fresh towels each day the room was cleaned at the same time .
