Great location for a visit to Chester. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Parking was a bonus. Instructions were clear and we had no issues during our stay.

We didn't like the long climb up the stairs, but hey, it's a penthouse! The bed was quite firm and smaller than we like (it's a double rather than a king-size), but still fairly comfortable.

Central, with lots of local cafes and restaurants, but also quiet and tucked away. Clean and tidy, good welcome package and all the facilities we needed. The parking space was a little tight when other cars were parked opposite, but the hosts sorted us out with a parking permit for the front of the property on the final night.

Not the hosts fault but the stairway into the property was rather smelly (damp & dirty carpets). But I guess they pay ground rent to the building owners so maybe they need to chase the company.

Fantastic location, lovely and fresh and light in the apartment. Modern, everything you need. Superb communication from hosts and really nice to have fresh milk on arrival.

Wonderful modern penthouse apartment, a stones throw walking of the city centre. That said, it was quiet and peaceful and having a parking place was a nice bonus. Everything was perfect, with some lovely personal touches. Best place we have stayed in the UK.

Absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated and super comfortable bed. The location is perfect and every little detail of what you may need has been provided for, especially in the kitchen. Fabulous communication from the hosts. The welcome basket and eco friendly touches are also brilliant.

Nothing. We were ready for the stairs - it's a penthouse after all, and the hosts' information clearly said 36 stairs. We knew there would be temporary scaffolding but with good blinds on the Velux windows the gulls caused more noise that anything else.

Excellent information after booking and detailed instructions before arrival made the whole visit very straightforward. Some clever touches in this freshly decorated and stylishly appointed apartment - frame TV's allowed our hosts to upload some of our own photographs for display during our stay, there's a speaker in the shower you can play your own music on, and another first, a loo twinned with a latrine in Africa! Designated parking space and situation right in the old city centre made walking the obvious way to get around.

This apartment is beautiful and quiet with its own parking space. The very comfortable bed gives a great nights sleep. It is very central to lots of bars, restaurants and tourist attractions steeped in history. Great communication with the hosts Helen and Mark and we couldn’t fault anything about our visit. Yes there’s no lift and lots of stairs but we’re both nearly 70 and didn’t have a problem. We will definitely be back.
