It was slightly further out of town but it was cheaper than any accommodation in the city centre and definitely much nicer than anything we would’ve booked there!

Nothing not to like!

The property was spotlessly clean, had high quality fixtures and fittings, and is very well equipped. There was nothing we needed which it didn’t have! And had the comfiest of beds for a good night’s sleep! It’s a couple of miles from the centre but there’s a bus stop right outside the gate. I’d absolutely recommend this property.

The fire alarm is very closely above the over door so when I was cooking I couldn’t open the over door without the alarm going off even with the hob fan on

All good. Slightly strange smell in toilets, kitchen could do with a garlic press and steamer. Boiler looks as if it might have a keak and we lost hot water briefly, we think, due to low pressure.

Clean, tidy and nicely furnished. Kitchen well equipped for doing your own cooking. Very convenient for getting into town on the bus and quiet despite proximity to the main road.

Flat 4 is at the front of the building and so very noisy as right by the busy road. I was in the first bedroom on floor as you enter which is the noisiest but luckily had brought my earplugs. The other double bedroom is in the loft by the kitchen with just a sliding door but was quieter as more insulated. Minor issues: Host forgot to send main door code but responded quickly. The sheet on my bed was too small for mattress, wifi code in handbook was missing an exclamation mark, advised to put everything in dishwasher but plates too large and difficult to fit wine glasses in so managed to break one. Nothing provided to hand wash but I think that would be easier. All in all a lovely flat if you don't mind being on busy road. If noise an issue I would advise one of the flats at the back of building.

We stayed in flat 4 with 2 double bedrooms. It was newly refurbished and had everything we needed - very warm and cosy with easy parking and close to Whitchurch Village for shops/restaurants. Great outside area for when weather warmer. Host very easy to deal with and quick to respond to any issues. Lots of kitchen items provided like tea bags, coffee pods, oil/basics.

Unfortunately, I only received the email with the complete information about which apartment, parking, wifi, etc on the evening I left the property. I worked things out , nevertheless As a heads up to you, the wifi password in the guest book is different to what you sent though via the email

Lovely, clean, comfortable, well appointed apartment with all facilities as described. Really convenient location, with parking nearby. I received a text about the access codes before I arrived. I needed to contact the owners who were very helpful.

The kitchen was a little dirty, there was a dirty knife in the dishwasher and the side was grubby. Also a dirty cup. It wasn’t a massive deal though as the other things made up for it.

As I have stayed at this property before but never in this apartment I knew what to expect, the ease of the door code is great, there’s no need to wait to check in and there’s lots of parking.

The key pad to enter the front door and room was a bit complex. I had to ask a neighbour to let me in on one occasion! I also had to let a neighbour in on another occasion 😂

Online and in the brochure, it tells you there will be a coffee machine and pods. However, we checked the cupboards and couldn't find a machine. If it is not something you provide, please remove the details! On arrival, the radiators were all switched off, which meant a cold apartment. We didn't cook but used the oven to keep a meal warm. All the trays in the oven were dirty.The shower is very weak and could do with being improved.

Accommodation was wonderful. Short walk to the shops and eateries. Efficient heating and everything you need for a weekend away. Quiet Accommodation no noise from other residents. The balcony looked lovely and would be great with better weather. Cardiff City is within driving distance and wonderful to walk around. There is plenty of shopping and eateries. The bed was comfy too. Despite a few negative comments below, we would stay again. Really good being able to park outside the property too.

The apartment was in a perfect location and had all the necessary items that we needed. The parking was free and everything was so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this apartment and we will be back.

This is the second time and a second apartment we have stayed at in the Philog. It is ideally situated for the city centre as there is a bus stop right outside. There are plenty of shops, bars and places to eat in the nearby Whitchurch village which is a ten minute walk. If you want a proper pub then I recommend the Maltsters in the village.

No issues and nothing that I didn't like, I would definitely stay here again & hope that this accommodation is available on my next rip to wales.

Its a great location and easy to check in and out with a private key box to collect and drop off your keys. There was plenty of off road parking and it also felt safe and secure which is really important when staying somewhere alone
