Nothing, everything was perfect!

I can not recommend the Red Lion and the wonderful staff that run it and work here enough. Absolutely amazing, friendly, kind and caring customer service. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication was fabulous. Georgie, Ben and their team really do go the extra mile and they made the trip run so smoothly. Hotel was spotless, clean as a whistle! Room was absolutely beautiful.

If I had to pick…the only thing the room needed was a proper shower mat. We had to use a hand towel.

The owners Ben and Georgie were superb. Nothing was a problem to them. The atmosphere in the small bar was excellent. The breakfast was also beautiful.

Parking was a struggle sometimes. But ok if you don't mind a little walk to your vehicle.

The close proximity to the beach is not mentioned enough - ideal location! Lovely beer garden to the rear of the property, serving woodfired pizzas that smelled amazing! Room was very spacious and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was superb!

Simply the parking.

The location was very good, as was the breakfast. The only downside was lack of parking in a very busy little resort. Our room was exceptional both in terms of comfort and cleanliness.

Off road parking outside is free but limited to 2 hours untill 6 pm. There are spaces which are not restricted elsewhere , which is an inconvenience, but for those with mobility problems , this could be a problem.

Friendly welcome. Beautifully decorated and spacious room. Immaculately clean. Good breakfast. Good location , the amazing beach could rival any Cornish stretch of sand.

Very difficult to find any fault. Would prefer better coffee in the morning, weak filter was only available

Exceptionally clean and very comfortable rooms. Given an upgrade to room 3 on the top floor, fantastic shower and bath. Bed was large and very comfortable with cotton sheets and comforter. Staff were amazing. Lucy in particular. Breakfast was outstanding, the Craster kippers and the smashed avacado with poached eggs recommended. If I could score 11 I would!!!

TV a little small to view from lying in bed (no big deal though!).. A.lighter fruit/ continental option at breakfast (and Marmite would have been great!) . When away a few days nice to have less rich menu choices, e.g. a vegetable based soup/ stew for evening meal but minor issues and would go back tomorrow!!

Beautiful room, quiet, friendly staff, perfect location, down- to-earth pub and great food. The team seem passionate about staying true to their low-key traditional pub/ inn tradition but delivering exceptionally high standards in terms of hospitality. Definitely recommend :-)
