No A/C. Besides that the hotel didn’t have many of the “trivial” things, shaving kits and facial tissues, like most hotels. The gym didn’t have disinfectant wipes for the equipment.

The staff was amazing. The receptionist, apologies for forgetting her name but she was Welsh, was an absolute delight. She helped determine locations to visit and really went out of her way to make our stay as good as it was.

Nothing! Really lovely hotel! A great find.

The customer service was fantastic, with all staff being very approachable, friendly and helpful. It was clear that staff worked incredibly hard at the hotel to meet everyone's needs. The hotel was very clean, the food (breakfast and dinner) was good and staff were very helpful regarding our dietary requirements. The room was large, with a super comfortable bed and with an additional bed provided for us.

The catering was definitely below par. The breakfast was ok but we had a get together with family and dinner was poor.

The rooms were spacious and had all the expected amenities.

Quite a slow check in. We arrived after 11 so understand it wasn’t usual reception staff. The guy was lovely and friendly though. Also just a shame the walls of bathroom look to have had condensation drips run down the wall. You can see it in the paint on the walls. It just spoils it a little. Nothing a repaint wouldn’t fix.

The bedroom was lovely. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathroom design lovely and liked the little shutters too. Fabulous bedroom and super helpful staff!

Restaurant quite poor. Went for breakfast at 8 (open till 9) and they had no milk, eggs or sausages available. Dinner the night before was from a limited menu and cost a lot for reheated food.

    Comfortable room.

The 'garden view' description was a bit of a push (we looked over the car park) but the distant views were stunning. Initial impressions when approaching weren't great, as it is situated right next to a petrol station. This proved to be very handy and don't let it put you off!

We went for the Deluxe Double Room. It was very spacious and well-equipped. The shower was hot and powerful, the large bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel and we got a great night's sleep. There is plenty of free parking and the breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Our door lock was broken so when we left the property the door was left unlocked 😫 there was a breeze also coming through the window so had to keep the radiator on all night. The bathroom door lock also did not lock but that wasn’t to much of an issue.

Location was perfect for our needs. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean.

The fire alarm went off at 5am and we had to evacuate. The heavy doors were not soft close, so slammed and disturbed us all night.

The food wasn't great. We had to move rooms because the first was unclean and the view (supposed to be a garden view room) was of a beat up old van and rubbish.

The receptionist was helpful and friendly. Views to fields in our second room.

The receptionist that we saw on arrival wasn’t very welcoming. However, we found the others very good and friendly.

We found the location very good. Lots of places of interest around. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on the food. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was also very good.

The staff either did not receive or did not read any of the requests that we provided at the time of booking as none of the advance requests were acknowledged or commented on by the reception staff when we checked in. We booked a classic/standard twin room and asked for a quiet room in our comments submitted with the booking. On arrival, we were initially offered room 302 which was of a very substandard size (it felt like a cruise-ship cabin in layout, very cramped) and overlooked the hotel car park and a busy road. We were not aware of the existence of such cramped rooms at this hotel as all the website photos showed rooms that were much more spacious, whether classic/standard or deluxe/executive. When we returned to the reception and asked for a quiet room, we were offered room 208 which faced the back of the property and was quiet and much more spacious and we very much enjoyed staying there. As this was our first stay at this hotel, we were not sure whether room 208 was an upgrade, but room 302 was certainly a downgrade given what we thought we had booked. Had we known that rooms could be so small, we would have very likely chosen to stay elsewhere. In this case, we were lucky that we arrived reasonably early in the day and that the hotel had enough availability to move us to another, larger room and that was thoroughly appreciated. Two of us would have struggled in room 302, perhaps it was really intended as a single room. There are no lifts at the property which will make things awkward for anyone travelling with large, or a lot of, luggage.

We enjoyed room 208 which was back-facing - overlooking a field - and was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was spacious, clean and well furnished. Breakfast coffee was excellent and breakfast options for people without allergies/intolerances were good. Parking was ample and free. The hotel is well presented and feels well maintained. The reception staff were available when we needed them and were able to help with all our queries.

We found two holes in our duvet cover Paid for one day breakfast, ordered full English breakfast only came with one sausage, bread was stale was nice but not enjoyable for £12. Was told when checked out you could order more as they usually have a buffet, but that day they didn't. No staff informed us of this. We ordered a meal in the evening was not pleasant the steak was overcooked, and chips were hard for £28. We sat next to a couple who said there wasn't cooked well. Which was a shame as ordered food the previous night and was lovely. Our room was close to main road can be noisy at rush hour. (Which can't be helped)

The room was comfortable and clean. The first meal we had was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking and a bus stop that takes you into the town.

Quite expensive for food and drinks, no beans or rolls at breakfast, not sure how I felt about charges being processed ahead of checkout.

Polite friendly staff, clean place, comfortable room, able to book last minute which was very handy for me as I was unsure of my plans.
