Expect a workout on the stairs as accommodation is on top floors but the view at the front on the top floor is worth it. Air con not functional but prop the windows open if you can and use a noise app to cover street noise and it all works well.

On the first night, we couldn't open the windows, and the AC wasn't working, making the room uncomfortably hot and stuffy. As a result, I didn't sleep well. However, the next day, the staff promptly fixed the issue, and everything was perfect from then on.

This place is an excellent choice for a weekend in London. The price-to-quality ratio is fantastic. Although the room was above a pub, we didn't hear any noise at all. The room itself is spacious, featuring a large bed and a comfortable shower. I would definitely stay here again!

Facing to the street , it is noisy. But was able to sleep except 1 night . It was toi much noisy

The bed and pillows was very comfortable. To go to the main attraction in Center of London it takes 15 minutes by bus or 30 to 40 minutes walk. Just a corner there is a little store to buy food for breakfast or light lunch. The room is located over the pub. The restaurant is good. The personel are very nice. There is a discount at the restaurant for the client of the hotel.

I’m just being lazy, but there were a good 3 flights of stairs to go up (but I was very grateful that the staff carried my 20kg bag up for me when we got there!)

Very helpful staff! Place is very aesthetic and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed to explore the city! Easy to get to the Kennington tube station which is easy access to everything you need. We really loved our stay!

The manager was really kind and helpful on arrival, as we were too early to check in she took our bags and coats and hung them up in our room. She very kindly gave us a key allowing us to have our day and evening as planned as the pub closed early on a Sunday and we were going to the Theatre. My only negative was a member of staff who made me feel like he either didn't want to be there or generally hated life and people itself and was rude, it was really odd when the manager was the polar opposite.

Upon arrival we had a late breakfast which was delicious. The pub itself is lovely and in a really nice location. The room was exactly as it looked in the pictures, a really impressive room. The bed was so comfortable and huge! The room had everything you could think of including the bathroom with lovely shower gels etc. I will definitely return. It felt like luxury.

Slightly noisy Road but it’s London! Initial entrance to where rooms are is slightly underwhelming but rooms themselves are lovely.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Great beds, excellent rainfall shower, nice toiletries and coffee machine also good. Overall given current London hotel prices we thought this was a bit of affordable luxury just a couple of stops outside central London.

no problem for us, but can be a problem if you’re travelling with not too close friends: the shower has a wall made of glass, there is a curtain you can close, but it’s not very private, so be sure who you share the room with ;-)

the beds were very comfortable, the room very nice and the staff very friendly. it’s fantastic that you get water, tea, nespresso and milk free at your room, so you can have your own fresh cappuccino in the morning (there’s no breakfast on weekdays), we loved that! it’s very easy to reach everything in London by underground or bus and the hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood, we always felt safe, even late at night when walking to the hotel. the pub is nice and has good food, so you never have to stay hungry when returning to the hotel after a long day in the city.

we stayed at the top floor and it was really nice, even better when we figure out how to turn the heating off (it was really hot). We did not get breakfast beacouse we did not want any, but we had dinner and it was very good ( the discount which they offer is welcomed) The bed was very comfortable, very clean room.
