The bar prices in the hotel were very expensive, people had one drink and moved on, not surprising .

Unfortunately, some of the rooms in this property are in an older part of the building and have very awkward access ie VERY steep stairs and no elevator- I would request never to be booked into rooms 4-7 purely bc of this reason. This section of rooms has also not been refurbished whilst the rest of the rooms have, so the bathroom, carpet, furnishings, cables in the room are quite dated. That said, I would recommend this property bc it exceeded expectations for the price!

Was pleasantly surprised by this property and the facilities they have - pool, spa, etc. the restaurant has a great view and the location was very convenient if travelling without a car. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and self check-in/ out made it a breeze.

The electronic check in was not a great experience Having people passing the window of our room to go to what appeared to be an exercise class next door was unwelcome, meaning the curtains had to be kept shut for privacy.

The online check in on arrival. There were no staff on arrival which made it impersonal and there was no sign posting to say where the rooms were. And staff to ask.

We have stayed here 4 times now, as Alex is at Falmouth University and we use the hotel to stay when we either bring Alex down or take him home. The beds are super comfy and very big. Shower is always nice. I used the gym this time which was good. It had a wide variety of equipment and I was the only one in there. I always like the use of free tea/coffee using the machine in the foyer. We didn't have the breakfast this time as ate out but the breakfast is very nice as we've had this before. All in all, a nice stay.

No kettle in our room! The tea and coffee station was along 3 corridors and a flight of stairs.

Would have preferred access to tea and coffee making facilities in our room. Room a little warm. Would have been nice if air conditioning Breakfast, my friend was a little dissatisfied as the bacon and sausage were excessively dry.

Nothing I didn't like except my eggs that were over cooked at breakfast.

Average breakfast. Fruit limited - apples and pears only. Not much choice on Jam. Room was perfect, nice, and spacious. Lovely comfortable bed and genuinely nice touch to have the temple spa products available to use. Hair dryer robe. Water bottle. Free tea and coffee to help yourselves. Bar area exceptionally good. Lovely chap behind the bar who served us.

Cardio gym set up a bit strange (dark and very hot). Self check in on arrival didn't work properly and there isn't a staffed reception desk so you have to wander round to try and find staff to help.

Big room, good pool and gym facilities, staff all very helpful. Location is great, easy walk into town and only 5 mins up the road from the beach. Very close to train stations also.

The cocktails that we had were questionable and the staff didn’t really seem to know what they were doing on the bar, so we ended up waiting a long time for drinks that then were not correct.

Appears tired….poor standard of housekeeping in corridors and communal areas….and in disrepair ceiling in dining room hanging down! Not the hotel we visited last year!!

Location to Falmouth is good. Taster menu in dining room a real treat!
