My room was right above the room to the dining room. Every time the door was opened it came with a loud bang. This resonated into my room.

As I had my dog with me, breakfast had to be taken in the lounge. Unfortunately another couple had their dog with them, which was off the lead and bothering my dog. This made it impossible for me to eat and I had to move out. A policy of dogs on leads needs to be enforced.

Second stay in this hotel. In a very convenient, quiet location. I had booked a single room, which was of adequate size although the bathroom was rather tight for space.

There's nothing I did not like , but it would be helpful to have a writing desk and chair for use for those who write.

Very comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. Great location, close to railway and town area. Having breakfast included was so good, setting you up for a day of walking and exploring. Location close to wonderful beach walk to the castle.

Could hear snoring from next door room - so an extra layer of sound insulation is welcome

Single room is small but a very comfortable mattress and great thick cotton sheets . Honesty bar is a nice idea and breakfast is very good . Can sit and drink in garden or lounge

The lack of organisation at breakfast.

Room and location was excellent but breakfast let it down. I had to send back a lot of dirty cutlery. Our breakfast came before our tea and toast. The toast was more like bread. To be fair everyone came down at once and the two young staff could not cope with the demands. A few other tables waited a long time for orange juice to be replenish and one tables toast came as they were leaving. The Full English Breakfast was lovely. I feel the staff could of done with some help. I would still stay here again.

Breakfast service was a bit slow, I think the staff are young and it's early season so plenty of time to improve. Attention to detail on the cleaning is needed, there were cobwebs on the bedroom wall, dust on the door frames and top of headboard. Not the end of the world but a little disappointing.

Location is good, lovely sea views and room over looked the garden. I was there as we were getting married locally, we had the lovely surprise of a bottle of fizz on return to the room (we had not told the hotel but the photographer was a big clue). Staff were really friendly and helpful trying to get the bridesmaid dresses steamed. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of choice and if you wanted to swap something out it was no issue. We were in room 4 which was on the first floor, great as my husband is waiting for knee surgery and could cope with one flight of stairs, my parents and bridesmaids were up a lot further so if you have mobility issues contact the hotel for room advice.
