The hotel is very dated and needs refreshing with decoration and fixtures/fittings. Food ok but needs to be better as the setting is lovely!

Breakfast was fine, would be nice to have more choices for the continental option. We loved the location, room size.

We weren't told when we booked that hotel guests can only use the spa facilities before 11 and after 3 . It was apparently in the book in the room which most people don't read unless they want some info .It was annoying as it forecast rain so we went out early to come back and use the spa ,very disappointed. When we complained at reception ,there was no apology atall . Strange arrangement for breakfast , the food was out but was served by the staff . Breakfast is not same standard as restaurant .Cheap ketchup , beans ,tinned mushrooms .

Really liked the food in the restaurant in the evening , it was excellent. Especially enjoyed the Sunday dinner ,lots of tasty veg and yummy gravy.

Staff are reception weren’t very friendly or welcoming. Cleaners were very loud in the morning and woke us up. Walls are like paper can hear everything.

Spa was amazing and such good value being in idled in the price for residence.

Pillows are not as comfortable as the rest of the bedding (which was lovely). The whole hotel looks tired, and some aspects are a bit shabby. The bathroom needs a heated mirror. Shower caps need to be supplied to keep hair dry from the rain shower. Coffee and tea making facilities are primitive. Superior room needs a Nespresso machine and a mini bar.

Friendly staff, comfortable superior room, Smart TV with Sky, ample parking, good breakfast.

Food wasn't valued for money, although good service I had lamb kofta to start 2 small lamb kofta for £7.95 not really worth the money. Asked for ribeye main meal cooked medium. Wasn't cooked as asked more well done. Very disappointing.

I have a slight problem with walking and use a stick. On reflection, I should have asked for a room closer to reception. I found the room we were given required two lifts and two long walks. Worth bearing in mind next time.

We were upgraded to a bigger room. Plenty of space. We used the swimming pool and sauna on one of the days.

Shower was very poor. Low pressure and not warm enough. Room looked tired and dated. Carpet was threadbare, hadn’t been dusted, windows were filthy, no plug sockets next to bed, marks on the ceiling in bathroom, distance from room to bar/reception. No undercover walkthrough so if the weather is poor you would get soaked by the time you got to the bar after having got yourself ready for a night out.

Limited showers in the changing rooms and it was pretty messy and no shower gel left by the time we left there at 8pm ish. The breakfast, although nice, was very limited on the buffet/continental table and annoying that the staff had to serve us the cooked breakfast. It felt a little bit lacking in generosity and abundance (unlike other similarly priced hotels that we’ve stayed in).

The staff were really friendly. The pool is lovely and it was really nice that they let our children in later in the evening as it was quiet and we arrived late. It was also a huge treat for them being allowed in the jacuzzi and sauna!

Nice room with a good view of the tower. Breakfast was nice. Spa was good except there were no showers by the pool side.Location is ok but a good drive out of Swansea city centre. There was no bottled water in the room and was told if we wanted an ice bucket, there would be a charge.There is also a charge for spa robes.

Room had a few issues. Loose toilet seat, faulty door, sink plug not working and a lot of large cob webs hanging from ceiling
