The property was magnificent and the host, Paul, was so welcoming and extremely interested and helpful in arranging a dinner booking and taxi for us. Breakfast was excellent, complimentary tea and cake on arrival was delicious and so hospitable. We really loved our time here, highlight of our trip.

Everything, from the complimentary pot of tea and homemade cakes that welcomed us to the fabulous surroundings it was everthing I had hoped for. Paul was an absolute fountain of information and nothing was too much trouble. It was a wonderful stay.

The property was perfect for our two night stay. The breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable about what to do in the local area.

Location was a little remote from my own personal point of view.

Paul was very welcoming and the place was very cosy and comfortable. Both of which made me feel relaxed after a long day. Breakfast was freshly prepared and there was a good selection

A beautiful building in a lovely location. We were well looked after from the moment of our arrival. Tea/coffee and cake is available on arrival with regular top ups if needed. Nothing is too much trouble. Bedrooms are lovely with big comfy beds and stunning bathrooms. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful with a great choice. There is a lovely comfortable lounge with an honesty bar or a cosy snug to relax in. (And have more tea and cake if wanted) We've stayed before and will stay again!

Wish we had booked more than one night.

Beautiful quiet grounds with manor set well back from any traffic noise. Big enough for a practice golf hole! Our room was huge and our bath was set in the middle of a large bathroom with huge shower. Cuddly towels and large dressing gowns with plenty of heated towel rails. Breakfast however you want it.

From the moment we arrived, welcomed with tea and cakes to the time we left - fortified with the most amazing breakfast - we experienced perfection. The house is stylishly decorated and furnished, the gardens are beautiful and immaculately kept and our bedroom was spotless with a fabulous bathroom and comfortable bed. There was a warm feeling about the place, enhanced by the friendliness of the owners and assistant.Suffice to say, we are already looking forward to our next visit.

This was one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed in. We arrived late but still enjoyed the owner waiting at the front door to give us a warm and friendly welcome.
