Close to city centre by car and train. Lots of fairly local pubs and great selection of breakfast. Lisa very friendly and helpful.

The Rain

We had a really lovely stay, Lisa was a great host and we were able to check in early, which was a real bonus as it meant we could get out and start exploring straight away. We came with a dog and the lodge was perfect for him, it is also worth noting how dog friendly Cardiff is in general! Lisa was amazing on arrival and gave us some great tips on where to go and what to see, as someone who lives nearby she has some great local knowledge. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could want & there were so many breakfast options which were really well thought out by an amazing host. Radyr train station is just 10 mins down the road (walking) and there are frequent trains in and out of Cardiff, which was really great. The location of the lodge is really ideal and feels very safe, so many gorgeous places to see (even in torrential rain!) just short drives away. We will definitely be back to see more of South Wales from the lodge. Thank you so much Lisa!

Everything, place was lovely and comfortable. Lisa, the owner, was lovely, welcoming, and advised on places to visit, which was really helpful. The location was perfect as not too far from anything, only a short drive or walk.

Whilst functional, the property is a little tired in some areas

Could just do with a fan in lounge area when hot.

Great location, only 10 mis walk from station then 10 mins on train to Central Cardiff. Parking great, easy to find. Hosts so welcoming, helpful and responsive. Facilities great, even sat outside and enjoyed breakfast. Plenty of food and equipment. Would highly recommend! Thank you so much and we'll be back!!

Nothing great location near the train station into Cardiff.

Everything was fantastic Lisa is a lovely lady nothing is too much trouble fridge well and truly stocked cooked breakfast on the day we left was yummy and alot of it.
