The room was a little small but it was fresh and spotlessly clean.

The staff - lovely welcoming people, the location was quite and safe, with the major attractions reachable by public transport, oh and the breakfast which was the best English breakfast I’ve ever had.

Not having a 24h reception was a bit of a problem, since our flights were late in the night and we didn’t know if we would make it before 11pm. The staff still did their best to accommodate us, though. Another issue was that the fire alarm went on in the middle of the night in one of the days, and it took a bit long to stop since we could not reach anyone from the pub. Having someone reachable 24/7 would have been helpful, we ended up needing to call the fireman.

It’s very cozy to stay at a pub. The rooms are cute and comfortable. Could do with some renovation, but still looking great. The pub itself is super nice. But the highlight goes to the staff - friendly and efficient people. Shout out to Luke, that did his best to make sure we were happy. :)

The location of our room meant it could be a bit noisy at times No noise from the road but noise from music in bar till about 12.30 However it is a pub so only to be expected and the pluses made up for this minus

Stairs to upper floors only. It was a little difficult due to my wife mobility issues, but still manageable.

Very nice stay. Older Inn with rooms above the Pub. Our room was directly over the bar downstairs, but the room was still surprisingly very quiet. Loved the food offered!

Unfortunately, it was very loud (especially on the weekend) as the hotel is located above a pub and near a main road. Furthermore, although the bathroom was very clean and modern there were some designing errors. For example If you let the water run, half of it misses because the tap is fixed over the edge of the sink.

The breakfast was wonderful and the personnel was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

Great room and lovely breakfast - can take anything from their menu. Location was perfect for a work event at London Bridge (~25 mins door to door) and it was nice not to be in the centre.

No soap dish to park used soap tablet - the only (surprising) omission.

Spacious room with excellent facilities (incl a coffee machine), stylish bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Also, much appreciated to be able to open a window (fanlight). A great value, delicious English breakfast served quickly was another highlight.

Soundproofing. We were in room 8 with a large window and were woken before 7 (after a lateish night) by a delivery van to the pub. Not a huge problem but could have done without it. No noise either from the pub downstairs or other rooms.

The room was beautifully modern above a lovely traditional pub. Located within easy reach of busy Peckham but on an amazingly quiet street corner.

On arrival in room found toilet seat in bathroom broken from hinges - we reported this next day as we were tired first day & man behind bar said he would get a technician to fix it . On return in eve it was still broken & worse . So it was never mended during our stay & was really quite dangerous . Reported again on check out . Also coffee machine didn’t work on first day but that was fixed for us . Also carpet is worn quite badly under the radiator ( room 12 ) .

Full English & veg option Breakfast very good but would have liked an offer of honey or jams & extra toast . Had lunch Fish and chips 2nd day - absolutely best F&F I’ve had in ages ! Staff very friendly & helpful .

Superfriendly staff, delicious breakfast, very comfortable room & shower and no noise at all from the bar (even though my room was on the 1st floor). Woke up by the sound of singing birds! The restaurant has some cozy corners if you'd prefer to work there instead of the desk in the room. And there are some friendly shops across the street. Definitely recommend this nice little hotel!

The room was a little tired, with some visible damp on the ceiling in the bathroom and the shower tap was broken (though still useable with difficulty). I like staying here and will likely stay again, but a few minor repairs would really make a difference

A bit dusty the room as well as the bathroom. The air conditioning wasn't working and we did not know how to turn the radiator off.

The area is so quite and chilled, at night its perfect to have a good rest in a cosy room. The bed was massive and sooo comfy, the bathroom design so cool!

Some little niggles with standard of room, broken curtain, non shutting window, leaky tap. Not refreshing supplies of milk and coffee, bit of noise from music in pub. Breakfast was fab but service very slow, prefer buffet style.

We only stayed for one night and so it wasn't too much of an issue but the toilet did not flush properly, there was a leak under the sink and some mould in the shower. The carpet was also worn in the bedroom.

The staff were fantastic! Friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pub itself is cosy and the food is great. The beds were comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic, only a 5 minute walk from the train station and near shops/pubs/cafes.
