The bedroom had a comfortable double bed, but was fairly basic. I should have been glad of an arm-chair. The en-suite toilet/shower room was tiny. There is no way that I could have gone in there and closed the door. The carpark is large, but I had some difficulty finding a parking space.

The setting of this huge hotel, very close to the M4, is helpful. The evening meal was much better than I expected, but the big bar rather noisy. I found the receptionist particularly helpful and sympathetic. (I was going to a funeral.) Like dinner, breakfast was better than I expected.

Staff were great but unfortunately they had a football presentation there and was loads of trouble but fair play hotel sorted it all out

I didn't like that the breakfast buffet didn't have the option of hot chocolate for the children, they were quite disappointed.

I loved the indoor swimming pool, we spent a lot of time there.

Very uncomfortable and unusual shape pillows! Breakfast was chaotic, poorly planned, served in a poor location so queuing and access very difficult and , very little choice available etc. Spoilt sn otherwise nice stay

The TV did not work and just kept scrolling the home page. The cold tap on the sink in the bathroom was impossible to use it was solid stuck.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, both at reception, the lady who made up the sofa bed, and some of the bar staff were friendlier than others. The breakfast was nearly depleted when i went to it and a tad disapointing if honest.

The price. Cheaper than centre hotels but over £240 for 1 night without breakfast.

Location was good as we were going to a concert at Millennium stadium and we didn't want to be in the centre. Breakfast was acceptable for the buffet style it was.

The price point suggested higher quality than provided, the room was dated and in need of work. Little things missing such as no glasses or beakers provided and the shower was useless.

The location is good just off the motorway but not too far from the city centre.

Lack of a quiet place to eat as only food provision was in the bar area which was extremely noisy with lots of children running around.

The shower was overflowing in the bathroom. The food in the hotel is really substandard.

The club room was excellent, huge bed, very comfortable. The swimming pool and spa were also very enjoyable, Friday evening was great, but Saturday morning was far too busy.

The self check in on arrival was very confusing and time consuming for a group booking. After a few hours of travel and meetings we were all very keen to get to our rooms, and as mentioned above the process was drawn out and time consuming.

The staff were very helpful during our stay, advising on places to eat and helping us book taxis. The pool & leisure facilities were great, very clean, inviting and easy use. It was much appreciated during a very busy working trip.

The bedroom was OK, nothing special but not bad either. The food was average and seriously overpriced for the standard, I expected a better meal for what I paid.

The staff were very friendly, approachable and happy, they were a real credit to the business. I spent some time in the bar area which was comfortable, lots of screens and generally very good. The location for me was also excellent.
