Room 130 was next to lift and firedoor in the hallway. Every time it closed it rattled the wall . If I was staying longer I would have moved.

The downstairs bar and restaurant could do with a few more healthy options on the menu. Couldn’t find any salad. Wine list needs a bit more expanding and thought too we felt.

We loved the friendly vibe from the moment we stepped in the door. The pool and the gym were fantastic. Very comfortable room, great bed and bathroom. All excellent.

Very handy location for the Ovo Hydro and also for getting into city centre. Very nice, clean rooms and bar/breakfast area lovely and spacious. Excellent free parking at the weekend

minor quibbles - would have liked someone on reception when I arrived but I did message for help and they arrived quickly and were very helpful - I'll know what to do next time... and only other minor thing was the shower wasn't very powerful - it was a good temperature though and did the job!

Room a good size and very quiet - didn't hear any other guests at all and had an excellent nights sleep. Great selection of foods for breakfast. All staff very polite and helpful. Excellent location to stay and attend concert at the Ovo hydro. Easy to drive to and plenty of parking.

The pub and grill. Had to wait over 40 minutes on our food. It was very busy due to Take That performance at the Hydro. I have expressed this separately with the restaurant

Nothing to complain about. A bit expensive, but we were going to Take That at the Hydro so expect to pay a premium.

Great room. Upgraded to a club room when we arrived. Smelt clean as soon as we walked in. Staff were great. Introduced themselves by name and were very helpful. Great location for the Hydro.

No staff available on arrival so it was a self check in which I didn't like, there was sweetie wrappers and smarties etc under the bed that looked like they had been there for a while.

Pillows were smaller than what I’m used to and I did find them a little uncomfortable. I also thought it would have been a nice touch to have some extra complimentary toiletries like hair conditioner and body lotion & bottled water in the room.

Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the use of pool and spa facilities. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. Plenty of choice at breakfast, all tasty too😊 Great size on trend room with a big TV. Large comfortable bed.

The seating area in the lobby is tired and dirty marks There was a stain on the side of the bed - looked like spilled coffee marks

the hotel was very busy and there was only one lift , the staff in the coffee shop were not very friendly and did not seem to care but the coffee was good.

Location was great for our trip this time , we went to a concert at the OVO and have evening reservations at a another venue close by , We did take the car this time and the free parking at the weekends was a bonus

Public pool which meant children swimming times were limited.

Our room was comfortable and clean staff very friendly and welcoming. Facilities were great big pool everything working. Food was lovely portion sizes slightly small but understandable with cost of living at the moment.

Really slow bar service. Bathroom - lots of grime around shower door, fan didn't work, towel rail didn't work. Window in room was filthy, could hardly see out of it.

Good leisure facilities. Friendly, helpful reception and pool staff. Great location for SECC.
