Very clean and comfortable rooms

Small TV and didn't have a remote so slow changing channels. Tried to play a dvd but you need remote to start film.

Good location close to the main road. It was a lot cheaper than the travel lodge would have been.

Radiators didn't seem to work but are still plumbed in and additional electric air heaters have been added; the heater was so noisy, it made a clicking and taping noise all night so made it very difficult to sleep.

Good location for our visit to see the local area. Basic accomodation but reasonably good value for money.

The room was overrun with large black beetles. The milk pods were off.

There were other people clothes under the bed as well as rubbish. Hair on the bedside table. Black beetles in the bathroom. Makes me wonder what else hadn’t been cleaned

There wasn’t anyone to speak to at reception, it was always closed. We thought there was an inside restaurant as it does say on booking.com but there wasn’t. Terribly small selections of local takeaways on just eat if you don’t want to go out for an evening meal. We found 3 cockroaches in our room during our stay. No air con or fans available during hot nights. Linen and towels weren’t changed unless we managed to catch a member of staff who were coming to clean out rooms or for wedding planning.

Cute little room in keeping with the surroundings. Brilliant value for money. The fridge was great as it meant we could have breakfast stuff and snacks without having to go anywhere or order takeout.

We didn’t have any dislikes. It’s a good base, very reasonable priced cafe with good food just down the road. Only a couple of recommendations which would be helpful in our opinion. A bath mat would’ve been useful for us as all towels were in use and we had nothing for the floor when opening the shower door so ended up with a puddle where it dripped off. Clock needs a new battery Fridge door opened the wrong way for us and we just felt it would be better if the door was hung the other way - which would be easy to do. But like I say these are not dislikes at all, there’s nothing to dislike about the property.

Second time we’ve stayed at the stables. Been happy with both rooms we’ve had, but prefer number 11. Good location and quiet. Able to park outside the rooms. Big lovely fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and good water pressure for the showers.

. Could do with microwave if we have fridge to heat food up as location not near any shops .need a car to access shops .

Location is quiet . Rooms are clean and modern . facilities include a fridge which is good .worth the money .

The shower head moved around on the wall bracket a lot causing water to be misdirected under medium pressure-it probably needs tightening (room 9). The shaver light didn't work either-it would have been useful as basin & mirror are in the darkest corner of the bathroom.

The winter bedspread was dirty but we just took it off . No hot water , when I called the number I was informed it had probably run out and won't be back on till 4 , she was out so couldn't come back to put it on . The water was very hot at 4

The room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money. It was quiet and tucked away . Beautiful back gardens which smelt amazing Can't comment on staff as we didn't see anyone but didn't need to . Everything you needed for a short stay

Would of been nice to have some facilities at the hotel to use. It was closed and looked like it wasn't being used anymore. Driving out to get food was a chore so would of been nice to have an option to eat at the venue.

The self check in is good, WiFi code clear to see in the room. Loved the arm chair which I worked from in the evening.

a hairdryer would’ve been a nice touch but my own fault for not checking. couldn’t get either bedside lamp to work and one bulb was missing. the mugs were dirty, no plates or cutlery as stated in the welcome folder, no plug for sink and found a tablet on the floor from the previous occupant.

lovely surroundings and very quiet. comfy four poster bed and fluffy towels with plenty of hot water. plenty of tea/coffee supplies

Nowhere to put the lovely towels...didn't want to put them on the floor. Bed was very very soft. Toiletries mentioned when booking weren't in room. Finishing around shower wasn't good. Cobwebs around the windows, in wardrobe and door frame. Why put fake milk in plastic pots when there is a fridge in the room where fresh milk could be kept? Nothing here that would stop me returning

Very clean. Great to have a full size fridge which was very quiet. Lovely fresh fluffy towels. Very good shower. Beautiful peaceful location. Plenty of tea and coffee.
