The bed was a bit hard to sleep on a bit like a park bench am affraid felt like I was sleeping with out a mattress but that could just be my feeling on it, maybe am a bit soft.

The access to property the staff answered the phone promptly when I rang using the number at the front door and gave me assistance to get in also. The support in the morning when I couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower.

Washing machine (pictured, but not described) out of order. Check-in with Code at the room-door not without problems.

Check-in worked with PIN, spacious room, parking behind the house (1st come) was good, a kitchen for all guests was available, all in all very good for the money. 10 min. to city center.

Ground floor room; the windows should have privacy glass or diffuse coating as people walking around the outside of the house and past the property can see in. The room was relatively clean but needs a deep clean, particularly the carpet which smells stale. The cleaner wasn't particularly friendly when I went in to make myself breakfast in the mornings. Internet way too slow!

I arrived late at night, there was no problem with the code- the instructions sent were clear. I had a very good sleep, it was quite and peaceful, very restful night after long long travel.

For a 1 night stay post tour this was a fine place to stay. Just be sure to read the instructions on how to get into the front door and room as there is no staff on sight. The room is basic but clean, about 10-15 minutes from the train station, close to a lot of restaurants and a large Tesco supermarket. This is not a B&B, it is a self catering accomodation with no staff. As long as you understand that and are OK with that, it's a fine place to stay.

I stayed on a Wednesday night and the street outside was pretty loud with traffic. It was hard to have the windows open on a warm night. I imagine a weekend could get a bit loud for some people. I used an app on my phone to drown out the noise and got on well. It felt a little further out from the city center than it looks on a map. This was not misrepresented in any way at all - I think it was just my perception that it would be closer. Keep in mind that it's a bit of a walk if you are the type that likes to stop into your room throughout the day.

The economy of the room was good. It met all my expectations. I felt safe, the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It had a nice and homey sort of touch to it. The tea set up was nice and unexpected, including little biscuits. I appreciated the fridge and television. Shower was nice and hot. I loved the fact that everything was automated and I didn't have to go through a check-in/out process. I loved that I didn't hear guests coming/going/slamming doors and being noisy in corridors as you would with a typical hotel. I could easily see staying here for a week or more.

Nice sitting room where we could relax until room was ready, full kitchen privileges, clean room, hot shower, easy walk to city center while still far enough to be away from the noise and traffic.

The bottom of the window bracket was broken but still operated. The location could have been closer to downtown.

The room had a refrigerator which was nice. The location is on B&B row with about a million other houses so location is average probably. It was self-checkin so that went fine.
